Runtastic Push-Ups Counter & Exercises for Android
With a helpful hint from the developer, I was able to figure out how to record a push-up session without having to follow the training plan ;-) Big plus of this app: proximity sensor tracking that actually works. I deduct one star for incessant badgering to sign up / create an account.
Very effective exercising app. The only issue I have with it is the voice that yells "We get your body in shape" every time you open the app depending on your media volume.
Great app. Please make it way quicker to get your date of birth right, I had to scroll all the way back to 1986 man (pain in the ass). Rest is spot on. Cheers.
Would be great if it was one app, and not multiple: situps, squats, push-ups, pull ups, etc, can you make it? Another thing: stop trying to share after each exercise
Very annoying app. Not helpful to me at all. There has got to be a better way to count push ups besides touching the screen with your nose!
It has counting problem.... It doesn't count 40 % of times even if you touch the screen.... Make it work properly without touching the screen
So far I absolutely love it can already feel the difference and I love how just because your supposed to work on it once a day doesn't mean your restricted to once so you can do it as many times as you like however I would like to know the difference between this version and pro because I may purchase it
I complete easily 5 days training program. but feel trouble to complete day six... there have no suggestion what should i do in that situation....
I'm still new to the app but I want to see if it could really help to increase push-up quantity.
I like the count feature, just a preference. However, basic features like workout reminders are only available in the pro version - that's laughable. I was sent a promo code, NOW4FREE, but when entered, it came back "unknown." Runtastic, perhaps... Certainly not Pushtastic. ????
You dont have to count the pushup and all that records are stored and display in a great manner which only motivates you further...
Great app. One thing though. It would have been great if all the Runtastic apps were in one single app.
I think that it would be better that if it would have a voice command while doing the push ups instead of touching it with your nose, you can just say 1, 2, 3 etc. Other than that it is a very good ap for training on push ups.
Awesome for travelling. I'm going on a 3 month road trip next week and have been trying this on top of a light workout for the past month. I've noticed great progress and I'm confident I'll keep my gains. I recommend using the other runtastic apps too if you're on the road.
I guess this helps if you have already been doing push ups before - I was recommended this but cannot even fulfil the first day - a better lead up for ppl starting with push ups is needed
Loved the app. If you love doing push ups at home then you must have this app. It really makes you do a proper one and works your chest way better than regular push ups that I used to do. Definitely recommended for all fitness lovers
Good but could be more interesting by adding options for nuckle push-ups and stuff like that. But overall great app????????????????
Auto pushup counting is very unreliable. Another annoyance is the congratulations banner on the session detail box which hides the detail for several seconds
It is OK. The biggest thing is the missing Google Fit support. I would even pay for this feature.
The Runtastic apps are good but I just don't understand why they aren't all in one app!
I love this app so much, great for watching your progress, no other app like it , I love the feature that counts your pushups by your nose hitting the screen , amazing app 5 stars easy
If I go for pro version then the charges mentioned are one time or it will be charged on a monthly or quarterly or what frequency?
This app really got me pumped, it helps you to beat and set records, if your trying to get better arms, I would definitely recommend this app.
Please! Create in settings turn ON/OFF auto mode. Let users decide on themselves, do they need this option ir not.

ouch my arms hurt but its working i think
Good apps, it help you to start and make it easy to follow and keep doing push ups thorough the days (which is the more important).
The face push up scan doesn't work
Love this app Makes workingout even more fun. Thumbs-up from me. Great work guys.
Phone sensitivity can varry I guess. Make sure you touch your nose make them count lol
When doing push ups, going out of (open another app) the app loses the current status of the workout. Please, implement onSavedInstaceState() in the activity
It is very simple to use, not done push up in years so it was good to find an app easy to use and fun.
A great little app which gives you motivation needed
My only quarry is that I bought the pro version of the app on Windows phone, now I have an Android phone and I'm being asked to repurchase the pro version.
Excellent app, what I don't like so much is the need to hit the phone to count the push up, but it's ok.
It can be much easy,so complicated. And it scale not true which make me angry
I love it, helping me to get back in shape again and being able to do more 5 push ups????
I love this application it in courage me to have most beautiful body thanks
I can do 150 push up when I started it was only 24 now pull all the girls at the mall

The Good: -Progress tracking. -Practical training plans. The Bad: -Inaccurate sensors. -Annoying ads even in Pro, like why would people PAY and STILL have to suffer through excessive, intrusive ads?
