Runtastic Me: Activity Tracker

Once the phone is rebooted for the first time after pairing, it takes forever to connect to the Orbit. Update: this is becoming annoying. Sync doesn't work anymore. It syncs other numbers than displayed on the orbit. Total garbage. Update: don't brush your teeth wearing your Orbit unless you want hundreds if steps to be added to your totals! Update: should get zero stars, since support is useless. They recommend useless actions to try to fix. They don't test the issues although many users experience these exact problems.

The app was working find before... but now everytime i turn airplane mode on then off, my phone can't connect to my orbit watch anymore. The data on the orbit will not sync with my phone and i could not get notification to show on my orbit. :( Update: I can repair my orbit but the same problem occur everytime i restart my phone or turn airplane mode on then off...

1. I can't load my data from my account to the app. It's endless process in the app. 2. The Orbit bracelet counts steps wrong: I must move my arm very hard to change step counter. The issue is observed about the last year. Environment: The both problems are reproducible with different mobiles/tabs. The first problem was fixed by me with creating a new account in runtastic but after a little time the problem returned. The year before the problems was perfect: orbit and app worked right.

Installed, uninstalled, reinstalled works for one day and stops working again. The process of these actions do not allow you to keep an accurate count of what you are trying to achieve. This has been happening since newest Android release. No action from Runtastic to try and correct the problem except to follow the above listed steps which do not work for more than one day.

Great when it works. Too bad my watch can never connect to the app like it should. Will likely return my watch and steer clear of any of Runtastic hardware. They obviously have no idea what they are doing there. Shame since their other apps are really good.

Thank you runtastic, the update has left me with a blank screen and is not recording my data. Great 164 day streak broken... I'm so disappointed

My wearable keeps disconnecting from the app. I have reset watch, reinstalled apps but issue persists. I'm falling out of love with runtastic

Would be great if the app updated the correct information. Im often short a few thousand steps.

De-motivating junk. Does not sync correctly with Runtastic PRO, which I pay for. Doing an activity on the PRO app does not add to the pedometer so the step goal can almost never be met. Even choosing "walking" as an activity in the PRO app doesn't register "steps" on this app, which is USED TO MEASURE STEPS. Add the wearable ORBIT into the mix and then when it has to be reset and you lose ALL of your steps WHICH CANNOT BE MANUALLY ADDED IN THIS APP., then you want to cry instead of exercise.

Needs quite some work. When connection with orbit fails one looses data in the orbit. Also, no way to bring in information from Google fit, so workouts that are not Runtastic generated are not taken into account on the calorie calculation. Same goes for food intake from MyFitnessPal. The model for this up should be Jawbone Up. Runtastic Me is lagging behind.

Never syncs to the wearable correctly so all my daily steps are off...all the time! Better to invest your time and money in a Fitbit or Garmin! Don't waste your time with this, you can't even sync this to your MyFitnessPal app, even though every other brand is on there..

USED to be good. Now every time you put your Orbit wearable into sleep mode, the application loses connectivity. To restore it, you have to manually pair it with your Bluetooth, go back to the app, get the error message, UNpair it, then it will connect automatically... until you put it into sleeping mode again.

Had the orbit for 2 years now. It worked good for a year or so. Last few months it won't connect the orbit 90% of the time and doesn't sync steps at all automatically anymore. Reinstalled and reset the orbit. Still refuses to sync and work at all. It won't pair with the orbit since the latest firmware update and won't sync. My mother's device has the same problem. Just get a fit bit.

Should be a great app, however it has a major flaw. There is no ability to sync steps over to myfitnesspal or even your own very expensive premium runtastic account useless!

Connection issues ever since they upgraded the orbit to improve battery life. Battery improvements have come at the cost of functionality. Is there a way to downgrade the firmware?

Using it for 2 days now and I like it. Would be better if you could sync your sleep with the Runtastic Sleep better app. (March 2015) Update: it is possible to do this now. Also, I am using the Runtastic Orbit wearable now as well. And I can tell, Runtastic is definitely the best of all fitness tracking apps.

I started off really enjoying this application. I have been using it for over 2 years now and in the past 6-7 months, it has become very buggy. It stopped syncing with my orbit. I tried to open a ticket about this issue but in order to do that I had to log in. Since I've linked Runtastic with my facebook account, I clicked on "log me in with facebook" about 50 odd times with no luck. Oh, and I should add that I've tried this several days in a row with not success. I tried sending an email to the developers about the syncing issue as well as not being able to log in to create a ticket! The only thing I got from them was an automated response telling me to go to their site to create a ticket! Going back to the syncing issue, it used to have problems about once a month. It has increased to every other day and I'm getting fed up with always having to disconnect and reconnect my device. All of this ranting boils down to, A) failure to fix bugs on the app and website and B) Poor customer service (or the lack thereof)

Hardware isn't even a year old and no longer syncs to app. I'd be pissed if I paid full price for the wearable but thankfully it was on sale. My next fitness tracker won't be from Runtastic.

The app is very easy to use and understand. Gave never had any trouble with it at all. And my orbit is awesome... my friend has a fit bit and she is on her 3rd or 4th warranty replacement, and my orbit is still going strong.

It was great until the app and wearable stopped communicating - a huge mess about to try and get the things linked back up (which meant losing data) gave up trying - Runtastic has lost my respect.

Works occasionally but still has issues switching from running mode to watch mode

Love this app. It encourages you to meet your targets. Not always totally accurate, however it's more about getting you moving regularly. Indispensable in my training.

I love quality that is simple. All in one, you see your progress. +1 I'm at a time in my life where I am excited to be active. #loveinglifeagain. Runtastic really correspondence with my Fabulous Me app. As I also do a lot of different types of activities. Another healthy support for anyone!!

Does not update your status completely, all of your steps don't transfer per device.

Done 3000+ steps on my S health but 265 in runtasric me?? It wont count mh steps for some reason. Will rate better as soon as I fynd a fix for the problem..

I did really like it but lately it's doing my head in it won't sync properly a lot of the time not at all it's not logging anything so can't keep track of how I'm doing

It is the best of all - superior to Nike! It gives me all the info I need and I can wear it in the pool - love that in syncs the information from my bracelet to my phone! Still love it!!

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Disappointed.
