Bashful: stop procrastinating

This is a nice idea ..... But we can easily close this app by pressing that blue button we will get 20 sec. Now if we pull down the status bar and go to settings then open apps option in settings then select bashful then force stop it.Please fix this ...!!!

I gave a 5 star in the initial review, but now I'm giving a three because upon testing I realized that it's too easy and doesn't have essential features. If im actually procastinating, I could just simply press and hold the back button on my phone to force close it, or open the recents menu and swipe it away. Might wanna look into this. The simplicity and UI is good. It doesn't have a prompt for admin privileges which would allow it to be restarted as soon as the app is closed. So, that's a problem.

This is an excellent concept. But the problem I'm facing is when I clear my ram (during the unlock time which it provides i.e 5 for default), it kills the app. Not sure if it's coz of MIUI or the app itself. Kudos for the brilliant concept though.

Include password unlock and also selective lock to certain apps only based on the frequency/addiction of usage. Also allow not just receiving phone calls but also making phone calls.

Brilliant app. But can it be made more strict, I mean there is no option to unlock for defined time(may be optional to user). There are many loopholes like in recent screen you can remove it, you can also get notifications and read it and force stop it at any time

Renders useless since one can 5 second disable. Looking for something more aggressive

It's a great app and concept. There are two things missing a timer to tell me when the block is up and the fact that I am able to uninstall the app in under 20 seconds

That's great to avoid loss of time because of app addiction but I'd suggest to add somewhat notification alert when the countdown ends. In this way, we could use it as pomodoro-like app too :)

It's a really helpful app and as the name suggests 'stop procrastination' it helps helps in doing that too but I'm giving 4 star because I feel the lack of a schedular which could schedule lock timer and breaks, would be gud if the developers give a new update which could schedule it according to 'promodoro technique'

While the app is good, the blocks aren't auto-enforced but have to be enabled manually by opening the app. Is there any feature that ensures auto-blocking of the app?

With a few megabytes space, it gets a lot of things done.

Hello developers the best thing in the market but with a glitch is your app.Im on miui 8 nougat version on redmi note 4 and i use to always close the app bashful from my recent tray which make no sense of using it.If you can plz help me out.And this app clearing.Hope I will get update regarding this.

Simple but brilliant works straight away no messing around you can unlock it for 20 seconds and choose how many times you can do that

the app is so awesome that i had to unlock thrice just to write this review.... and also found that you can unlock just by rebpoing the device.

Wish i could set an automatic time each day that this turns on

Good app just need one more thing to add unlimited times in no of times until bashful is disabled. After 20 the app must also provide do not disable. And at the end of the session app provides the number of times bashful was disabled for 20s in the session

Terrible loophole. You can uninstall it easily during the 20 second unlock.

I get the idea. But it didn't hsve a timer. Also it didn't give me any notifications after the time was up. Notification wasn't disabled.

Useless app, as you can easily force stop the app.

Is there a way to block only certain apps using this app?

Almost perfect. This is the best phone use-blocking app I've used to date. While it is still possible to access my phone, Bashful makes it sufficiently annoying so that I don't bother trying to unlock it. I just wish it had a little more customization. In addition to how many times I have to hold down the button to permanently disable the overlay for the time being, I'd also like to choose how many seconds I have to hold the button down for (I'd make it 10), and how long I can use the phone for after I've held the button (I'd probably make it 15). I'd gladly pay a few dollars for a pro version of the app that had these features. Someone also mentioned being able to schedule active times for the app, and I think this is a good idea as well. Anyway, keep up the great work!

This one is seriously good. There are no ads and in app purchases, which is why I am specially happy and enthusiastic about it. It is made to help people and not to make a quick buck out of anybody's distress. It works very well, even on Android 7.0+ unlike cold turkey.

The overall idea is good... And I really wanted to give it five stars. But this app has a loophole. When the app is active if we press the recent menu button, it will get minimized and we can remove the app by clearing all the recent apps. You guys, your idea is awesome and I loved it. Please work on this and I will also give five stars.
