Hal Higdon's 1/2 Marathon - N2 for Android
Recommended by a friend. Bought it for $10! Everytime I go for a run the app stops!!! I'll keep trying to use it, but I want my money back.
Nice app, like the motivational quotes. Still a problem with the first motivation after the first mile. Music stops completely and when you restart it, the music does not mute for the next quotes. Still can hear it most of the time unless it's really rocking. GPS is inaccurate at times so make sure to rely on your gamin or whatever other device you use.....It's keeping me motivated!!!
I cannot find the settings like you see in novice 1. Not able to use the app at all . Not worth $10...
Great app with a gentle ramp up in mileage. Great training plan, easy to follow, and just challenging enough.
At 1.25 miles it gives me a little motivational message. Great! Except, it stops the music completely. GPS tracking seems pretty inconsistent, I use a Garmin 405 that tracks pace and distance a LOT better. After 2 weeks of sub-8 min pace, it says my best mile is 8:46. I don't think I have ever paced that slow. My best mile on my garmin is 7:05. Big difference. 3 stars because even with the glitches, I am still using it. And, of course, Hal Higdon rocks!
Like that it tells me exactly what I need to run for the day and provides encouragement along the run. The GPS does seem to be off though.
gps tracking was not very accurate and there is no reason this should cost $10.
Too expensive and GPS tracking is bad
Way too much money for what it offers. Plus it crashed three times during my first run. Boo!

Tracking is horrible. You need to manually enter the stats from the run you just finished. Then you can never find that log. The motivational pep talk is just far and few in between and very repetitive.
