Boost for reddit for Android
I tend to discard apps that supplement official ones pretty quickly if I don't like them. I think I've had this one for months now. So far it's been a solid choice with good UI that makes reddit browsing a pleasure compared to the default app or the mobile browser version.
This app is great and very customizable. Could we get a way to disable the subreddit links on list view. I find myself clicking the link to the subreddit on accident way too much instead of clicking the post.
Navigation UI is more intuitive than the other, more popular reddit apps. Clean readability with customizable colors for everything. Each subreddit page can be defaulted to a preferred format (e.g. cards for one subreddit, lists for a second, gallery view for a third, etc.). Great user experience.
Really nice Reddit viewer. What would make this 5 stars for me is if there was a way to enable that great swipe mode only when you're viewing a single post. That way you can keep your preferred view for seeing all posts in the channel but get the benefits of swipe after tapping into a post.
Really is good it's just that when it comes to multi reddits it's trash they're always at the bottom they either need there space or put above all your other reddits which would be nice(edit) after getting the multi reddits working boost is amazing especially with the themes that are in it.
Filter read is broken as of last update: after filtering app scrolls to random location, and sometimes refuses to load anything at all.
Youtube plugin is a little janky as is viewing things from Vimeo, my main quam which brings this down to 3 star is that the developers haven't allowed us to move the app to SD storage, incredibly irritating
A good summary of this client is that boost for reddit is all other clients rolled into one. The great degree of customization here allows you to make this app look like anything you want. The widget is also very nice.
Best Reddit app. I'd really love an option to have comments remain collapsed when refreshing a thread. If new replies are found, comments would then be not collapsed.
Really liked the app until GIFS just stopped working. Otherwise would have been great
I can't believe I might like this better than BaconReader
The app crashes and some images don't load.
Best reddit app I've used, but the latest version seems to have trouble with handling notifications.
This app is unbelievable. Used reddit is fun and baconreader before this, and I'll never switch back. Fast, fluid, just all around great.
Clean interface with lots of options to customize everything. Coming from Sync, which is pretty good too, it feels a little lighter and simpler in a good way
Overall a great app but saved comments don't appear on the saved section.
Pretty good. I like that the comments can be collapsed to show only direct comments to a post.
Sad that this is the case, but this is MUCH better than the official Reddit app!
The best Reddit app. Easy to use. Works well. Support Devs by buying ad free version of you can.
Let's me brouse with ease, I'm more of a lurker, it fits my needs well.
Like all the customization you can do on this app. Way better than the official Reddit app
With /r/bestof there's no way to see the original post.
Infinitely more usable that the standard Reddit app. Numerous ways to customise the interface. Excellent
Crashed on me once, otherwise an awesome app
Better than the official one
Once again another brilliant reddit app among all the alternatives!
Well laid out, tonnes of options. Best reddit app out there
Best reddit app. Wish there was a paid version with no ads.
Freaking awesome even if official app quite nice.
Decent app. Certainly better than Reddit Is Fun.
Absolutely love it. Much better than the reddit app.
Great design, app works like a charm.
Much better than the official Reddit app.
Best reddit app I've ever used
Better than the official Reddit app!
Excellent. Nothing that I can complain about.
why can't we add our own subreddits to the side? I don't want to view All or Hot. the other apps let us view all we are subscribed to on the side and go to them. pretty app but can't use it if we can't do that. edit: it works fine now. much appreciated for the fix and response. Now I look forward to using it over others
I used to love this app. My go-to app for reddit. However, post some recent updates, it's inbuilt YouTube player has become extremely buggy and keeps crashing. Also, while browsing any random subreddit the app just refreshes without warning and takes me to the front page, for no obvious reasons. Devs, please make this app great again.
Great app. I just wanted an easy way to highlight op's name. As it's the same font color as the rest of the details bit sometimes I don't see it easily. I'd also love to allow a few buttons to always show up in comments in a compact/tidy way. Namely up and down votes. I don't want to have the whole row showing up all the time and at the same time I do up vote and down vote comments quite a lot (saving./sharing/replying not so much) maybe you could allow "two quick actions" to show up in comments w/o the need to expand the bar?

If you are on the fence about what Reddit app to get, I can't recommend this enough. This is so much better then the official Reddit app. No glitches, performance issues, problems loading threads/posts, huge data plan hog, ect. There is a lot more features that you can customize to fit to your liking.
