Vera Alerts

No longer works. Stopped working beginning of February.

App done work on Samsung Note 4

Love this app. When my garage door or outside doors are opened in my house, this app sends me a notice which it speaks. It speaks what I desire: it says, "BMW garage door has been opened" which is great. The support is excellent, also.

Nice to be able to get notified of activity at home

Took a while to figure it out; but it is working smoothly on my Note 3. I can't complain about the alerts' timing. I receive the notifications very promptly.

Sounds are working again, still can't delete them from the list but that doesn't bother me much.

Was good, supplements Vera's alerts. Two main issues - horribly slow to open due to it trying to load ALL alerts first and it's no longer working on 6.0.1. Time to move to Homeseer...

This app MIGHT work, or more likely not. I have a Vera edge with UI7, and the sparse instructions seem to be made for a previous device and are so out of date that they are misleading. What a mess, what a waste. Worthless, or even worth less than cost of app (nothing).

This app is a must have if you use vera. I depend on it for open and close status and times on all my doors as well as other alerts. Such a huge step up from the built in notifications of the vera app.

Great app feature-wise but 70% battery consumption is totally unacceptable. Anybody can go to your device settings, tap battery, and see that Veraalerts battery usage. Can this be optimized?

I've only just got the vera and this app but so far it's looking good if a little confusing, but maybe I ought to read the documentation! It's still doing what I want though but it looks like it can do a lot more.

Great APP- even better support.

This allows our vera system to act like an alarm system and we love it. I consider this an essential app for vera owners who want notifications.

Works fine, but after months of use I finally found it was responsible for 50% of my battery usage, and that's without even using the app. And occasionally it gets into a mode where it draws much more, depleting my battery in just a few hours. Unacceptable.

After entering all the settings got a blank screen and heading says not registered. Took me a while to find the register option, now out works great!

Its great app I just wish the developer releases a compatible version for the newer vera's firmwares

Quick response from my scenes. Like the simple easy to use layout. Wish you could sort by date time vs alert name grouping. update: now groups notification. THANK YOU. This is great app.

This app does all my logging and notifies me of my scenes and triggers. Great support and head and shoulders above Vera notifications. Thanks!!

Press and hold a notification for more than a second and you will get a popup allowing you to sort by time.

Much better than text and email alerts......however I wish the latest event for each section were in bold or colored.

This is really a great addition for Vera on smartphones I use it continuously

It took me a while to figure this out because I couldn't find the app in the very app list, but then once I did it worked in seconds and it's so fast. Awesome app.

I don't know of any android app which provides better alert status.

Very good app, but takes a little time to fully figure it out.

video alerts are some difficult/slow to manipulate. anyway, you must try this app.

Email & SMS notifications from Vera continue unabated, but nothing yet from "Vera Alerts".

The android alerts are so much better than getting tons of emails.

I use this program to have a log of entry and exit access to my home. Very fast and reliable. Nexus 5 KitKat 4.4.1

Great App which basically allows to do everything I expect from a Home Automation Notification System. Overhelming advantages compared to the vera build in notifications.

Was having such a hard time getting any plugins to work. Did a factory reset on my VeraLite and now everything works great, including this awesome app.

It was pretty easy to install with minimum setup. Works great and its way better than getting SMS or email notifications. Using this with my Veralite.
