VAG VIN Decoder

I had high hopes for this app, but it fell way short of my expectations. My VIN, according to this app, is for an Audi S4 or RS4 Quattro (B7 platform, 2005-2008). My car is an '03 Audi A4 Quattro (B6 platform). The app is a full generation off the mark in my case, so I would advise you to verify any of the info you get from this app.

This is just cr*p.... I put the vin of my audi a4 it gave me nothing but a list of models a3 a4 a6.... no info and zero info extracted from the vin ... it just tells less than what you already know about your car... that you have a german car... made in bavaria.... shame on you for this cr*pware... of course I got it removed...

The app is ok although it has some discrepancies and does not have a very large European engine code database

If you have an adblocker, it whines at you to pay for it and will not let you use it. So I'll just uninstall it and use a free online decoder. You've made your point at the cost of a potential customer. Good job.

Couldn't even get my engine right. Says I have 1.6 MPI which was not even an option when my car was built. If it cannot get something as basic as the engine right, I don't think I can trust it for anything else!

Great app. Use it every day in my VW Audi parts business. Some inaccuracies. Need codes for engines for other countries outside Europe. Would be twice as good if it had transmission codes man and auto with ratios etc. Keep up the good work. A big thanks from me.

The Options Decoder didn't work AT ALL if you have an ad blocker installed. Even if it's turned off, the app doesn't let you access it. Unacceptable. Not worth purchasing for info you can get online for free...

Could of like to get parts code as well with it for car. But like how it gave make and origin.
