Skybrary for Android
Get at least your payment system in order. Got charged 49.99 for a year but get subscription expired!! Support doesnt even seem to work on weekends. Total letdown.
Inconsistent. What ever update has happened has locked the app, rendering it useless. Subscription has been renewed, but can't get to the sign in on restricted mode for children to use.
I thought this would be great. I paid $49.99 & now we can't do anything. This app seemed great when it was free so it was a no Brainerd to get the paid version, big mistake. How can I get a refund to look for another app??
One of the Holy Trinity of children's television along with Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. This app is vital! Thank you all so much!
Won't load on Samsung Tab S
قاتبببذثذتب غبعيث APP ever
Tnx ilove it
Great app, very well done and my son loved the interactive stories. Gave it 4 stars because it takes too long to load books and my son gets bored. Android app.
Reading rainbow
I downloaded this to support Reading Rainbow, but I had to install it twice to get it to work.
Won't load on Samsung Tab S
I. Like to read. A book
Pokemon ex
Love this show
Lol
Loved it!
Epic is a much better app This app works fine on my galixy 12 inch tab but on my kidses 10inch tabs I get at black screen were I need to log in andwith the new update it dose not even get to the log in it just crashes at star up
Wish the app and books could be stored on SD card. Constant reminders about being low on space because the books and app get so large.
Big Reading Rainbow fan for a long time, and doing everything to ensure my two little girls experience the benefits of reading and what RR has to offer young minds. Also donated to the RR kick-starter campaign which was wildly successful, and from what I understand is the reason why Reading Rainbow is now available in digital form on Android and other modern digital platforms. This application looks like a lot of thought was put into it from a creative and presentation stand-point, and to make it accessible to its younger audience. However it is seriously lacking polish. I'll try to list some of the more glaring problems I've encountered below. * Videos libraries don't work correctly even on my Galaxy Tab S2. The Videos and field trips are a major component of the RR experience, so this is a major fail. * Skybrary overall does not work on my daughter's Galaxy Tab E Lite (incompatible). Really? This device has all the horse power and meets requirements necessary to do a lot more than the Skybrary is doing. Why doesn't it work? * Turning pages in books and having to hear whole page read again. * Where do we file bug reports and track them?
I love the content but the stability seems iffy. The videos frequently fail mid stream. Very frustrating for my kids.
Was working fine on Ipad and Samsung GT-N8013 with 4.1.2 Android no matter what I do I can,t get to start, installs fine no errors but comes up with error unfortunately Skybrary has stopped. Says it should work on this version of android. Will update review when I know more.
I just installed this app and was trying to set up an account but the opening portion where the little boy is talking doesn't load properly. You can hear him talking but you can't see him and the keyboard wont wont show up either. Help Please
I never do reviews. However, I really wanted to for Reading Rainbow, Levar Burton, and for anyone who loves to read, especially to/with children. Thank you for this app and its books. :)
App force closes on opening. Please fix.
Awsome for kids
I love it. My daughter was really interested and it was easy to navigate.
Samsung galaxy note 10.1 only shows a black screen now. Worked recently. Frustrating.
The app works fine on my galixy 12 inch tab but on my kidses 10inch tabs I get at black screen were I need to log in
This app wasn't actually available to be installed on any device that I currently own, which between several Samsung phones and tablets is inexcusable. My Kickstarter code (from nearly a year ago) is a complete waste, since we cannot use this app. Why has it taken years to roll out a not-even-functioning app? This is shameful.
I paid 9.99 and it still shows me as using a trial
Keeps crashing before I can even log in
Unable to use in restricted mode, rendering app useless on my children's tablets
Great app, very well done and my son loved the interactive stories. Gave it 4 stars because it takes too long to load books and my son gets bored. Android app.
Works fine outside of restricted profile on my Nexus 9, but crashes immediately upon start up when the same tablet is in a restricted profile. Restricted profiles are the "parental controls" of Android, so it's baffling that an app made specifically for children wouldn't function within them.
Great for children to learn and listen, all while interacting with the characters in the books. My granddaughters simply love this app.
Love it love it love it
Way too expensive!
1- I'm already paying for the service/app via kickstarter. 2- As a former developer I own over 20 different Android devices ranging from an S4 to a OnePlus, and multiple Nexus devices. Not a single one is compatible. 3- Had to search for and then spoof a compatible device just to write this review. The app didn't work BTW. 4- It is dishonest to announce, take payment for, and release an app that supports less then 2% of the devices on the platform for which it was released on. 5- Even a part time amateur app devs do better. Unless this is resolved I will publicly shame this app via social media, and via the number of Android news sites I have developed a relationship with.
Lots of bugs. Lots of books don't work. Using Galaxy Tab 3. Once the app gets out of it's growing pains, it should b fine, but unless you are using next gen devices, you will encounter problems. Can't give it 5 for functionality, but it looks beautiful and has lots of potential. Can't wait to see the fixes implimented.

Cool concept but not the most user friendly. I may have signed up for several subscriptions just trying to get out of the trial mode so my son can get more books, and really only 5 books for a whole month! Might be something we should be made aware of before choosing those books, so that better choices are made
