Needs: faster interface, outside of lookups. Map should tie to device navigation feature. More icons on the home screen... it's a bit scant. Maybe bigger tiles instead of icons, until you have more icons/features. Local "things to do" icons. Something like "nearby places to eat" and "nearby arts & entertainment." Maybe a "services" icon for campus services listings. Great start though. Keep up the great work!!
