Whats the point of this app if I can't access my account, make payments, book excursions, etc... seems like a multi billion dollar company could afford to have an app built that has more functions and actually serves a purpose.
Seems like the other cruise lines as well as most major airlines give you info on your specific account and trip details, but RCCL does not. It's really just a platform to buy more cruises. When you click on the menu option for your anchor account, it pulls up the full Web version. Better off just accessing their website from your phone's browser.
What good is this app if you can't access your account...? Figured that would be the whole point of having an app for Royal Caribbean. Deleting it as soon as I finish typing this review. Pretty useless.
Useful if you want a very basic overview of RCCL and its ships, but no access to your account.
Nice app but it's pretty much useless if I can't log in. I'm using the newest update from 11/17/15
Couldn't get into my account. Crashed multiple times within minutes. And provides little or no usable information. Come on Royal Caribbean, you can do so much better.
What good is the app if I can't check excursions on my trip?
This app is nice to look at but can't access any account or user profile to update anything..
If you are looking for a cruise and if you want to know more about the cruises that they are and what they have. Then this would recommend this app
The app doesn't allow you to log in to your account. That should be the whole point of the app. It only gives info about the cruises which you can bring up on the website.
Nice looking app, but it seems worthless if I can't login to my account.
Can't login to my account. Can do and find more on any browser than I can with this app.
Useless. Wint even find cruises and if it does you just geg redirected to website.
Why is there no login to Crown&Anchor integrated in the app?
Doesnt slow for login. Had no use for passengers with existing travel.
Hope to have a fabulous time this September
Multi billion company needs to invest in an app that actually works
It's just 40MB of their mobile web site...
Not helpful at all once you book your cruise, like someone else said, this is purely a marketing tool. Very disappointed.
Useless, can't login to account.
Just a copy of their website
No personal account access. Not worth having
Good way to look at cruises
Useless without account access
Nice
Just a sales tool. Not useful for passengers.
Poor app.
Useless app
The app is so useless that it does not even warrant a description here.
No account? No useful.
Cannot log in on android app. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Open in Google and was able to get in. Something needs to get fixed. Android app says on vacation
Everyone I try to login my account the page that comes up says royal Caribbean is on vacation. I've tried to Uninstall the app and reinstall it.
Can't log-in on app, so I the uninstalled app!
The app does everything but let me sign in.
Won't let me sign into Crown and Anchor account.
Can't log in from android phone
The app is a great idea, but the execution is not good. It is good for basic info. I thought the Webcam is a nice touch, but they are all frozen. This app is ok, but the cruises are amazing.
I'm going on a cruise in the near future. It would be nice to see specifically which shows & activities are available & at what specific times. I appreciate the customer service phone lines & they need to stay, but I can't always call & want the access to my inquiries at my finger tips. Ie, when I can board the ship, times & locations of all activities, maps of the ship, better info & pictures of excursions, especially needed is info on transportation to & from port from hotel or airport. Etc, etc.
I've booked a cruise and thought this app would allow me to check the status of my cruise. Disappointed that it's just same stuff that I can Google.

Better and more relevant information can be received with independent apps like Ship Mate. How can these apps provide info on my upcoming cruises and Royal can't? This Royal app is just a marketing scheme, providing advertising to buy a new cruise, but worthless for current cruisers. Even my info on Crown and Anchor is just a link to the website. Hey Royal, maybe you can buy out Ship Mate and then just use that app for your existing customers?
