MedsXpress for Android
Brilliant idea but doesn't do what it says on the tin! My last three orders have disappeared into the ether! Shan't be using again. ????
I found it very useful and practical, however I'm disappointed that not all Rowlands Pharmacy joined. I recently changed my address and Rowlands near me not accepting the app.
It's a great idea if the pharmacy use it properly and update the system. Five times now I've had to Chase my order up myself and ring them as the app just says order received and never moves along the line, even when it's actually ready to be picked up. Could be so much better.
I can't order any prescriptions on it so it's really not that good, I downloaded this almost 2 weeks ago yet I'm still waiting for approval from the pharmacy (supposedly takes 24 hours) so I'm not too impressed right now!

Just wish had option to add 'other users' otherwise very convenient app
My pharmacy told me they can't access the app so the repeat prescription I ordered hasn't even gone through and I've had to order again over the phone.
Worked for the first couple of times chemist was really switched on.... now I submit my repeat they never confirm they've received it have to phone up to clarify. If they do confirm receipt they never tell me it's ready for collection... have to phone up to ask. Rowlands why promote something that you don't even bother looking at on a daily basis.... so frustrating? Back to the old fashioned way for me !!!

I tried to request for the pharmacys id but still no word so deciding to uninstall app. And what a shite developer for creating this fucked up app that does not work
When I get a notification "ready for collection" and log in, I can't see what has arrived. So I have to log in again to see it. Why? I can't set alarms unless the proscribed drugs come from you. Some drugs are only supplied by my hospital & have to be taken at specific times, but your app won't allow for that. The rest of it works well.
The app was working fine until the last update, after that I couldn't order repeats normally so, on the advice of my local Rowlands, I deleted and reinstalled it. Now it wants to know my pharmacy I'D with no facility for help, so I'll have to go there and ask them. (Next day) Does not order at all now.
hoping this review as worked on my laptop I love the app which ive got on my android devices, is there any app for windows 10, I hope so, this app is very important to me

How do I download a new app for my husband's med. I need it on my tablet because I order repeat prescription for him.

Have been awaiting approval for 28 days which should take 24 hrs by chemist.staff knowledge of service is poor from what I have witnessed
A bit of a pain to have to login to app and re-enter your pin after getting update notification.
Not very good for a tablet and only allows one person to register. It needs to allow other members of the family to register.
Doesn't send verification email and won't let you go back to change to sms. No way forward.
Will not accept capital letters for post code
Does what it needs to though you are relient on a decent pharmacist. To many adds though and needs to be a "family" service rather than just individual level ie can't order for a child
Adding my pin after a notification only to be told to open the App, which requires entering my pin again, to see how the status has changed is annoying. You should also be able to change the user to order the family's medication.
set up failed when adding my details. The app asks you to choose your doctor surgery followed by a blank page with "No surgery" at the top. Consequently unable to proceed with app!
Easy to set up. But confusing when wanted gp surgery but figured you had to type it in and then it came up with the surgery

This is a great app, It sends me a reminder to take the tablet, which I can choose the time and I can re-order my meds on repeat which is nice and easy. The Pharmacy have been fantastic (the Stakes one in Lavendar Road) all staff are friendly and helpful in particular Michelle but all the girls have been helpful with advice on medication and weight control. Thanks very much what a great idea this is.

Good when the pharmacy read their side of the app and action it but defies the point of this app when I have to ring them to do so. Far quicker me driving to my Dr's and requesting a repeat via the fool proof paper method. Get my meds in less than 2 days that way. If pharmacy could be bothered, this would be a good app.

I have been a user since the start and like this app. I got a new iphone and uploaded the medsxpress app but was horrified that the new upload used 260 mb enough to take me over the limit and it cost me a £37 charge. Beware.
I can order direct anytime, anywhere without having to call my G.P.
Easy to use
Trying to set this up but can't get past the initial setup screen. Drop down list for GP surgery shows 'no list' and I can't enter it manually.
for the last 4 days so I cannot get past that stage of the setup, waste of time, easier to use systmonline for repeat meds, far more reliable

Practical but useless. My local (2) pharmacys have both use the system but for whatever reason my order gets lost or missed, or I regularly get message of "order received /order refused /order ready for collection"?? Only to find the same excuse of "it's the surgerys fault" when clearly it's not as it's only Roland's that suffer this problem. Tbh I'm not sure if it's the app or just Roland's thats the problem...
