RosterBot Mobile Team Manager

I really wish Google would just ban these web wrappers. Why not just make a proper material design native application. Three user experience would be infinitely faster and you could tap into a lot more of the platforms features.

Just installed but doesn't log in - just keeps spinning.

I just installed it and it won't open even after a phone Restart.

While certainly taking care of a lot of work the mobile app is unacceptably slow. It may look nice but even on top end phones it is almost useless. More time on speed and efficiency and less on eye candy could make this a top pick. Unfortunately the last update shuffled the deck chairs and did almost nothing about speed.

Latest upgrade forces me to login each time I open it, and sometimes get a blank screen when hitting back key. Also, still want to be able to invite spares or nudge individual players from phone or tablet, highlighted that issue a long time ago. Using LG G4 with Android 6.0

The app used to work, now won't even open even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried the website and it didn't work either. I'm supposed to use this for work, and now I don't have the capability of knowing my schedule through my android phone. Going to try my pc. Edit: I think the problem is now fixed, I have been able to access it better in the last month

Don't bother. All focus on IOS, not Android. Interface unreadable even after uninstall and re-install of v1.9.4. Interface getting worse after each upgrade. I'm not using the most recent best smartphone and that could play a factor and using KitKat.

The app doesn't display correctly anymore even after performing a recent update. It makes it useless.

Our team just started using this and I have to agree with some of the other posters - this is almost unusably slow. Plus on my Samsung SIII (yes old I know) it doesn't render properly where I get text and images on top of other text and images. Frustrating.

OK, though subscribing into team events ends up with 'unable to obtain google account. Sorry'-error.

Huge battery killer!! Today I discovered that this was the #1 app on my Pixel's battery usage list and I hadn't opened it in 2 weeks! It was using more than 2x what the fb does. Uninstalled.

It's the best, the support is really good and really quickly. I run four to five teams on this app. Love it!! All the guys love it.

Have used the system for the last 2 years and had great results. Last update, seems to only be an extension of the mobile website. Very slow and always asked to login. Needs work!

As manager, I enjoy the per game reminder emails and payment recordings. But it is still slow on a tablet or phone. I can't figure out how to set up various payment plans that each player can choose from without every player being assigned all the plans. Makes outstanding versus collected money report incorrect and too high. Emailing support is hard to find and failed on me. Why this review seems negative. But I do like it over all. Keep up the good work.

Don't bother. It's not legit app. Might as well use the mobile site, which is the same experience and also sucks.

The interface is okay. Loading time is awful slow. Since the new beta version, I can no longer see who in or out and it freezes on that page.

Worked good for a while, but after last update it no longer registers when I rsvp. Will change rating when fixed. Galaxy s5

The app force closes on my Nexus 6P. Needs an update to run on devices with Marshmallow.

Doesn't allow you to add events to your calendar. Calendar sync (if it is even there) doesn't work. Have to add events to my calendar manually, so it doesn't make anything easier. Might as well just check the schedule itself.

App will not load. Get a rosterbot has stopped working message. Won't even start up. Unfortunate. I click on app icon and instantly I get notification saying app has stopped. I reported many times for you now.

This app needs more skilled engineers and a UX dictator. Such a frustrating experience.

I just started using Rosterbot for managing my team. Overall, I really like the interface and capabilities - it definitely seems like a complete and capable app. BUT I have two concerns: a) The app is really, really slow. It takes a long time to browse to the right location and complete and action. I'm hoping this gets refined in the future as this is my biggest concern. b) It's a bit unclear when the Chirp feature will provide push notifications or not. For new users this has been an issue but generally seems like something we can resolve (would just suggest a bit better documentation within the Rosterbot app or website). Dave

I have 4 teams this app helps me manage. It works great, and my compliments to their customer service and support. I've contacted them several times with a question, comment, or suggestion and they have been very receptive and helpful. If there is something you don't like or can't figure out...ask them.

Takes several minutes to display dashboard and it requires too much network activity. App needs some major improvements.

Clear interface, runs smooth, simple to use, doesnt drain phone, not annoying. Great for managing personal team, great for seeing head count and positions, and can do multiple teams. Thanks for the useful app!

the app apparently has the right to keep my phone from going to sleep and to start on startup. I spend 6 hours of my day out of cell coverage and must be able to have my phone go to sleep plus I don't want any app that doesn't quit and starts on its own. I also get notifications on a regular and constant basis that " unfortunately rosterbot has stopped". quite annoying

Trust me, I have tested many different Apps and this is the only one it does what I need. I have a soccer team and we play twice a week, is fast, easy to use, user friendly, it has a beautiful interface design, they provide support I just can't stop saying good stuff about it, it saves me so much time...! Thank you Rosterbot, you nailed it...!!!

One thing for improvement would be mass texting, with reply for in and out would be cool.

Lord deliver me from 'IN' & 'OUT' organizing emails! Never again. Beautiful interface. Good times.

Android version - Cannot exit app with "Back" button. Need to use "Home" button. - Initial loading takes 2 sec too long - Loading progress bar seems awkward on top. Web version - Need to add "Duplicate event" button. - Changes to recurring event are not saved to all upcoming events (eg. Title) - Extra event created after modifying a single event in a series Google should consider building similar app or acquiring this app and optimize the app further with Google Wallet/Gmail/Calendar.

Looks good so far, app could run a little faster though. Two features that are needed. 1. Score keeper for post game recording. 2. Carpool organizer
