Ski Pursuit

Fun for personal use but the community feature is bogus. No one is skiing at 900kph + or even around that. I'm calling bs.

Synchronization no longer works after one full day of skiing. Reset and reinstalled everything's. Works at first and then no longer syncs up...

Wont find GPS signal, rendering this app utterly useless. Shame as its linked to my Gear S2 and its the only reason i downloaded it vs Trace or Ski Tracks which actually work. Sort it out guys!

Like other reviews, it says it is constantly looking for satellites and never actually gets a fix. Crap!

used to work (poorly, but it did work). now it just sits stuck looking for satellites. android 6.0.1

I work on my old phone but now on Android 6.0 just searches im Very disappointed

Like everyone else, looking for satellites. Interesting that the dev hasn't commented in months about this issue. Android 7 here.

The GPS doesn't seem to work on Nexus 5x and Android 7. Please fix...

Managed to record 3 sessions yesterday, after stopping I got a 'app has stopped working' message, but it eventually added my route. Today I left it on from 8:45-4, but it seems to have only recorded until 12:55. Totally gutted.

Had high hopes but app never started, tried last 3days, tries to search for satellites and no further progress. Uninstalled

Waste of time - just sits there waiting for a GPS lock despite claiming 20 sats detected. Fitbit, MyTracks et al get an instant lock in same location.

Can't link with my FB acc

because I got a nice list of how many runs and what my speed, time & distance was on each run. This map kind of gives you some idea when you "play" it but that is klunky & all you really find out is speed. Otherwise this app is a decent alternative. I like the fact that I can post a picture with each recording, didn't have that with AllSnow. I did have a hiccup on New Years day where it recorded the overall time & distance incorrectly (by 1,800 mi & 25,000 min) but when you click Descent it shows correctly.

The December update fixed the crashes I kept getting while using the app, that's good. The app freezes on my Nexus 5 at two operations : stopping the recording of a session, and opening a session from history (the first time only). If I let it run long enough the OS throws a "app not responding" dialog, at which point the app seen to effectively wake up. Doesn't prevent using the app, but annoying nonetheless.

The screenshots show promise, but it wouldn't start tracking me. It just hangs finding satellites. Even with 24 satellites according to its waiting screen, and OsmAnd and other apps able to locate me, this just sat waiting.

I can't seem to get past 69.9 MPH. Is that where the app maxes out or is it just me? I'll rate it higher if its just me.

facebook sharing broken, app seems hardly developed

It starts recording and then I get to the bottom of the hill and nothing's recorded.

Instead, it would aimlessly search for a GPS signal even while outside yet other apps worked just fine. Not once during a recent trip to Whistler did it ever work while all of the other apps did. Useless! Only good feature is the amusing countdown. Too bad I didn't hear it much while at whistler and even then it halted and went back to waiting for a GPS signal.
