About FolderLatch
This is an application for the people who wants to lock their folder. Folder Latch provides privacy for the folders containing private files like photos, videos etc. When you want to lock a folder you can select the folder and lock with the password. The folder will be encrypted and will be saved in zip format in the same path. It can be unlocked with the password. If you forget the password, you can recover it using Forgot Password option by providing the correct password hint. After unlocking the folder, it will be decrypted and saved in the same path. If the app is uninstalled by mistake, the locked folders can be recovered by connecting to the PC and providing the password.

It took forever on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Hour+ for 1.4G of files. It appears to basically zip the files into a large zip file and when you unlock it unzips them to the original directory. Unfortunately, i tried 6 times to unlock my folder and only half the files were restored. Also, it does install junk-ware on your system.

Wont unlock & when you try to extract from zip files...can't cause they're empty. It will permanently hide your stuff... by erasing it. *DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!

It doesn't lock folders in external sd card. This app can't evn read external sd card, forget locking it. It can can lock only folders in phone storage.
