I purposely got this app do I could freeze the Google maps service. Says it can't, so uninstall and refund.

Need rooted phone and need to reboot. You cannot delete app right away - only a warning message comes up that it is better to freeze it and see if it causes issue before delete. Freeze the unwanted app (like Netflix) and reboot the phone. The next time you go into Root Freezer, you can delete.

Whenever I freeze an app it hangs until I force-stop the app. Emailed tech support 3 days ago and still not a word. Bloat Freezer works MUCH better. Wish I could get my money back.

It indeed makes it so that an app cannot be launched anymore, not even from the drawer. Combined with Go Launcher to hide icons, its as good as deleting bloatware, except safer, because deleting pre-installed apps permanently can cause problems with official updates.

Here's another lame rip-off app. The "read more" implies that it can help freeze some apps without root. That's a bold-faced LIE. It can do nothing on a non-rooted device that you can't do yourself. This dev probably makes no trustworthy apps at all. Don't bother paying the buck 62 for it. BAD DEV!!!!!
