Sure would be great if you added a casting ability.. I can cast from the website but only podcasts and day 5.. any gameplay always freeze buffer plays. Which is so strange. Probably because it's a different file type or some smurfed up stuff. Will get 5 stars if casting is added.. Who wants to watch shows on a phone or tablet?

The app almost never plays the selected videos on my phone; they'll start, sometimes, and then not go any farther than about 5 seconds. If I tilt my phone, the video stops playing and will never pick back up again. While it's cool that all the videos and channels are in one place and relatively easy to find, I still rate it a 2/5 because I still can't watch any of those channel's content.

Edit - The crash issues have been fixed! The app could still use a few upgrades such as quality options, but overall it works again. After over a year of no updates we finally get one. Now if you try to go to the live tab the app crashes. Hopefully we won't have to wait over a year for an update to fix this.

Video pauses and the audio skips back a few seconds and plays until it catches back up to video. Then both keep going once synced. It does this very consistently. For an app that almost exclusively plays video, that's not good. Obviously an RT fan, but you guys really need to get the app smoothed out and updated.

I'm a first member and most of rooster teeths content I watch via this app, and it's a painful process. There is no cast button so I mirror cast off my tablets screen (not ideal). No video quality control. Some content won't play past 2-5secs before pausing. Now I can't even log in, and when I try it tells me to "verify my internet connection" or "an error has occurred". I can assure you it is NOT my internet. It's completely useless atm.

While adding the other channels is a great update this app unfortunately still suffers from the issues it had before. There are consistently shows that are missing in the main Channels section. For example is you go to Achievement Hunter on the Channels section the 3rd GTA V Mobile Operations is missing. You have to actually go to the shows section to find it. This has been an issue since I started using the app over a year ago. If I want to see all episodes of a series I cannot do it. This is because the listings in Shows are limited to 20 episodes. So I can only watch the 20 last episodes of anything. So, if I want to go back and watch RvB Season 14 I can't do it. This is also an issue that has always been in the app. No Chromecast support. It is hard to imagine a video app these days without Chromecast support. I want this to be my go to app but I find myself going to YouTube for most things not First because of the lack of functionality in this app.

The app has improved but there is still issues. The newer channels were finally added, so that's good. However you still can't see all of the videos for a given show. Most cut off after roughly 15-20 videos. On the actual site you can see all of them. There's still playback issues where the video freezes every so often. The app also is just not very aesthetically pleasing.

Honestly I don't even know why Rooster Teeth even bothered making an app and then not improve on it whatsoever. Literally will not work with mobile. I have 4gLTE and yet every single video will either stop playing and buffer immediately, or play for 2 seconds then stop. Needing to have auto-rotate on before loading a video in order to watch full screen. This app needs to be updated, if not then it should be taken down. Even after the "update" nothing is fixed. Just added new stuff that should have been on it a long time ago. Sad excuse of an app. UPDATE: How is this app still in the store? It doesn't even work now. Please take it down and put it back up when you fix it

Rooster Teeth is great, but this app sucks. I couldn't log in, or create a new account. If I tried to, itwould say an error occured, and then not let me do anything. This app its terrible and works worse than using their website in the kindle silk browser.

I'm going to say off the bat. Yes I am a bit bias in my review because I am apart of the RT community. However since this new update I haven't been able to login to my First account to access exclusive videos on mobile. This should be fixed.

I would like it if it was just a bit more reliable. Some shows take a few days to show up on there. For example, it always seems to happen with Off Topic which came out hours ago on the website but still isnt showing up on the app. Also if you open a video while your screen orientation is locked, when you unlock screen rotating the video still wont go landscape. You have to back out of the video and lose all the buffering you just did.

There are severe playback stability issues. As others have said, videos will often halt completely after the first 10 seconds or so. If the app loses the focus, like if you receive a phone call during a video, the app throws an error and you have to start it over. Additionally, not having Chromecast compatibility is a big oversight at this point. None of the issues have been addressed in like a year, so I'm lowering this review to one star. You have so much content and aren't making it easy for me to watch it, even as a sponsor. It's infuriating.

For an app that's based entirely on watching videos and listening to podcasts, it's terrible. Videos restart for no reason halfway through, or the app crashes. Also, the option to have content such as a podcast play while the screen is off would be great. I wanted to use the app for podcasts at work with my phone in my pocket, but since the screen can't lock without the video stopping, that won't work.

Pretty good. Easy to use and has all content from their website and youtube channels. Only problem I've found is I cant seem to find a full scree option. If you like rooster teeth you will probably like this.

A massive leap forward. Please can you add Chromecast support? Also, a more advanced search system would be great too. For instance, I used VLOG to look for a video with VLOG in the title and came up with nothing. Looked it up scrolling through the history and there it was. Same problem with many other videos. You get the instant impression that Rooster Teeth is not invested in Android. I suggest that considerably more users would use and download this app if said features where added. At the moment I prefer using the web browser version ( which I can cast).

It use to only allow videos if I was on wifi and now it seems to have a problem even there. The videos just stop or will play and will bounce back to a spot and repeat that til it catches back up. I love RT but this makes watching content really hard when on the go.

I have been a long time fan and recently found the financial ground to be a FIRST member. The app is great and has all the shows, gameplay, and podcasts I love. I just wish it would rotate to landscape mode.

I love RoosterTeeth's content but the Android app is god awful. Between the inconsistency of the streaming video and irregularity of it's behavior with other apps running, it makes it very hard to keep using. The only reason I haven't stopped is solely because of the content, I've been a fan since the beginning.

App would be great if A. Videos playback stops working if I leave the app more than once during a video. B. The app will randomly decide I don't have an internet connection even when everything else has access to the internet.

-UPDATE- Happy that they added all of the channels but still missing basic features!!! - quick button to add videos to watch later instead of having to open the video and wait for the button to load then press it and back out of the video. - video quality selector... -OLD- Been using the app for a while now and not much has changed still doesnt show all the content. Still needs a lot of basic features... Easier just to use the website which is what Im going to switch back to.

I'm glad to see Rooster Teeth's updating an app on a yearly schedule, conveniently 'First Week' so they can say 'We care _ this much about you, hard working people that have giving you money for years,' wilts grabbing some money from some unwitting new customer pockets *Size of underscore is not representative of how much they care about the android audience* Sense your not listening to your base this will fall on deaf ears. Now it doesn't even play videos on a gig connection. 0/5

I have been and still am a life long rooster teeth fan since RvB season 3, but the app will not let me sign in, by regular means and by Facebook. It just repeatedly says error has occurred. If this problem, a big problem for me, is fixed, the app gets 5 stars

APP was fine until a few days ago, now can't login. Keep getting error and try again later. Ended first membership.

Love the company, hate the app. It's difficult to navigate, and doesn't even have afull screen option fort watching videos.

Will not let me make an account keeps saying an error acourd and try again. But I do really like this app.

Awful layout, crashes and no Google Cast support. Unacceptable for a paid service.

I like Rooster Teeth but this app just doesn't work that well. I just got a new phone and when I tried to login into the app when it finished downloading it would keep saying error. No matter what I did it wouldn't let me log in.

The app cotninues to suffer from all of the problems it had before the update, but they seem to have gotten worse. I'm glad they added the new channels, but the constant pausing and skipping of videos, as well as the mysterious absence of some videos, leaves me debating whether or not I shpuld keep my First subscription, especially considering that I can hardly watch the videos i sibscribed for.

I have bought a year first account but the app won't let me log in.. It just says error logging in.

Videos unfortunately are unwatchable on the app due to playback errors. I can't watch anything without it buffering and inevitably crashing.

No matter what I do it won't go fullscreen mode. Not great for an app that's supposed to play videos...

Would love to use this app more but as of right now I really can't. I'll stick to using the mobile site because the video player is constantly stopping and then when it starts again it loops the audio from a few seconds.

Love the app, just missing Chromecast support and allowing to decide video quality, it buffers a second before freezing on mobile data - at least that's the case in the UK

The only thing that needs to be fixed/added are the ability to comment on videos in the app and the search function sucks. Fix the search and add commenting on videos in the app, and we're golden!

I really like the app, but I don't like that when I try to sign in with Facebook it says an error occurred please try again later. If this gets fixed I will gladly rate it 5 stars.

This app is okay. It worked perfectly fine, until today when it signed me out and asked me to "verify my internet connection" been connected this whole time.

A lot of issues with actually managing to play the videos. App still has a lot of work to be done

It NEEDS Chromecast support. I like supporting you guys and getting content first but I would love to stream it onto my cast.
