RoosterMoney Allowance and Chores Tracker gets allowance sorted. It transforms the way you give pocket money and your child's allowance, by making it simple for parents and fun for kids. Parents remain the Bank of Mom and Dad and no deposits are required to start using RoosterMoney.
Parents sign up to record the pocket money comings and goings for their children. Each child has an account too and can check their statement and savings, create saving goals and choose what they want to save for.

What is RoosterMoney?
Our mission is a simple one. We provide easy and engaging tools that help parents to raise money-wise kids.
RoosterMoney was born out of Roosterbank, a virtual world we built back in 2013. We’re building a product and platform that will change the way in which kids manage and learn about money. We are also working closely with schools, coding clubs and other financial organisations to create immersive experiences for kids learning about money.
We set out to sort a specific problem: Allowance is a great idea in principle. But finding a system that works for your family is hard, particularly when you’re juggling the weekly shop, work emails and soccer practice. And everything else for that matter.
We believe in the power of allowance to transform children’s understandings of money – whether you give them 20¢ a week or $10. And we think these lessons are best learned by keeping things simple for parents and fun for kids. Importantly we think the best things are learned together.

My son is 6 and was really enjoying this app. That is until the way you add money changed! He loved choosing whether he had completed a job, or earned a reward! It was a big motivator. Now when we add money there is just an aread to type the reason or select it from the drop down. Give that my son has trouble with reading and writing, this made it impossible for him to add in himself. With they layout before he could recognise the symbols and then had memorised which order the list was in. Which meant he understood why he was earning stars (or tokens as he calls them). Now he just got a reward but didnt understand that it was a reward. Lost a fair bit of the magic and fun.

Overall its a great concept but it need major tweaking. I want to be a ble to see daily jobs. So far i can only set weekly or monthly so once my kid cleans their room once and has it approved then it is ticked off for the whole week. My kids kobs change each day so a weekly planner that allows jobs to be set on each day of the week would be ideal. I want to be a blento set star or $ goals forneach job instead of having to a set weekly or monthly allowance.

The App is still evolving and have plenty of space to improve. However, the effort the team is putting on it is outstanding and it can become the best app in the store, for child money management. My three kids love it. Keep going...

Nice app for controlling and monitoring child income. Please consider adding the ability to have a giving category with user selectable percentage to automatically move a percent of the child's income into a giving category. This would be a perfect app with this addition.

Now I don't have to hear, " how much money do you owe me for allowance?" Every chore, or reward I can simply add and she can see. She has a hard time with math and money management but with this tool it makes everything simple. The only thing I would add is the ability to link the actual goal item from Walmart or Amazon. Right now you can only put a title of what you want and the websites address not the actual item. But overall an awesome app for all ages.

This app has all the options you want to manage your kids' money. No need to track physical money anymore. Great for getting chores done. Has nice feature to set savings goals for things the kids want to buy. Also has a safe to save money longer term to teach the difference in short vs long term savings.

My family loves this app. It works great for parents like myself that always forget to get cash to pay allowance. It has really helped my children learn to manage their money in spite of my forgetfulness. The only feature I would add would be a way to enforce that money is put into the vault for the younger ones and a way to teach the importance of giving by allowing parent or child to set a percentage aside for charity.
