Squawk: Reminders on Unlock

Almost Perfect. I've been looking for this sort of app for some time - a nagging note that keeps coming back until you mark the task as complete. The task alert does this admirably. However, the reminder shows as quite a small message at the bottom of the screen in subdued colours - easy to miss. Also it disappears after a few seconds. If it were in a brighter colour and remained on screen until snoozed, it would be a lot better for me. To be perfect, I think there should be an audible alarm when an alert first appears on the home screen. In effect a combinaton of the alert and reminder.

Pro: This is a 5-Star app without a doubt, especially for those of us who seem to suffer from information overload throughout the day. The options are perfect and I can't ever say I said "I wish it could do X". Con: It's not an issue I feel like the developer can reasonably fix, but the compatibility issues have caused me to uninstall the app with much regret. The Yahoo Aviate launcher at some point just stopped displaying my squawks and I can't find a work-around. Download the app!

Thanks for Very Useful App to remember task/events. It will be better if option is added to choose display of 'On Screen Message (Reminder) either at Top, Centre or at Bottom of screen for better viewing instead of only at bottom of screen. Also better if it is synchronised with phone calendar for events to avoid duplication of entering events.

Hi. The app does not work correctly with android 6.0 i just changed de phone and with the new one does not work

Good app for constant reminders. Hover it annoys me so then I disable. Went to uninstall but will give it another shot and decrease the reminder time. When are new updates coming out?

All you need for quick/persistent reminders. Great app.

This app is simple and useful. There are no obnoxious popups etc like I have seen in other apps, and the interface is easy to use.

Nice simple app that does exactly as described. GUI interface is nicely done and easy to use. Thanks for a free version with no ads.

Been using this app for awhile now and it's very useful. Design is classy; and I like how a reminder could be less grand but still very efficient and noticeable. How I wish Roman updates the app though. ;)

Love the interface and the silly icon. Works great for my needs. Could use a donation button for me to throw my appreciation at.

Unique features allowing customizable pop-up reminders for any task. This app offers me a tool that no other task/to do list app has been been able to provide.

Wish I would have thought of this myself. I literally use it everyday. This is the best reminder app I have ever used, and it has greatly improved my productivity.

Nice app. Could be a bit more intuitive, for example swiping away squawks instead of tapping delete.

Dashclock support and I will stop using wunderlist. Second, I'd like the reminder feature to be optional. Some of my to do's are important others are not. Other then that I think it's great

This app looks and works great! The fact that you can set it up to only remind you when you're connected to certain WiFi networks is amazing! The # of unlocks or minutes feature is smart, too. It really needs multiple reminders, though. I want one reminder at work, but a different one at home. Also, time-dependent reminders would help a lot. I want to set a reminder to get coffee tomorrow morning, but I don't want it to remind me right now!

This app throws other task reminders apps out of water!. Brilliant idea to show the task reminder when unlocking phone. And it's fcuking beautifully holo themed. It would be better to show the list of tasks completed in the screen instead of "you have reminder or task active". And it would be nice to have alarms at particular time as reminder to complete tasks. Hope you listen to your customers suggestions. 5 stars!!

Needs to have some kind of capability to alert audibly when something is due IMHO. I have a tendency to forget stuff by not looking at my phone, and Google Now reminders are no good unless you have your phone in earshot at the time.

Love the concept, but alerts are tiny and kind of blend in at the very bottom of the screen. It shows for a couple seconds then goes away. For two days now I have been fiddling with the settings trying to get it to work and only just now discovered the tiny alert at the bottom of the screen. If it doesn't get my attention, it's not going to remind me of anything.

It's a great app the way you can arrange your tasks and sub-tasks and the ability to tik the completion of each task or sub-task on it's own but if it made a squeak when it appears that'd be awesome :D :D

I would like to see some launcher. capability. I currently use nova launcher because I can't stand the stock launcher that came with my room. Other than having to swap back and forth when I want to use it I'd say its a pretty decent app.

Exactly what I wanted! Only thing, I wish it had a much simpler design to create quick squawks.

I really liked this app and used it for a while but every time it updated it scrubbed all the squawks and in the end I got fed up having to re-enter them. if not for that it would have been 5 star

Just replaced my old reminders method!

I love this - cannot wait to see this app mature, would love a dark mode for the cards or *assign different squawks* colors. Colored cards instead of white and blue ICS style would update the layout better
