Devon Air Ambulance for Android
Great idea, but the 999 people don't seem to be able to use the OS coords. Could location be changed to GPS coords instead/as well please?
Does what it says in the description! :) Smooth, news and info is good, and the mapping is excellent!!
A great idea but to be a lifesaver surely it needs to accurately say where you are. I downloaded this app onto both mine & my wife's phones. We're sat next to each other but my phone says I'm about 1.5 miles away & my wife is about half a mile further than that. This was a problem for people in 2013 so it really should be sorted now. BTW, both wifi & location are switched on & I've refreshed the phones several times.
SOS light not working and giving wrong location. I'm in East Prawle, this shows me in Salcombe.

Brilliant app but the only thing that worries me is that my location is way out even after refreshing it three times. I still find myself 12 miles away from where I really am. Or is it just me not refreshing it properly

When you first ask it to get your location it uses the mobile network information. This can be a few hundred metres out. It also will use the GPS ,if turned on, but the GPS location does not update the on screen location unless you hit refresh. How are you supposed to know to do this. It should do it automatically. Its not clear if when you make the call to the emergency services that the OSGB details will remain visible. Do you need to remember them/write them down?? The SOS function does not appear on my phone. So if it's dark I might not be found. Edit. Have found out that to get the grid ref back on the screen during a call you tap back twice.

It's a good idea, however it seems not to work well with huawei p9 as the SOS flash doesn't activate the torch and the location is incorrect to where I actually am. I think if these where somehow rectified it would be brilliant
