Rojak News started out from my frustration of having to visit each of every Malaysia's online news sites to read their news articles. Other Android news app in Google Play store manage to group all the online news sites into one app but I still hated the fact that I have to browse through all the news sites sections; TheStar, News Straits Times, Malaysian Insider, etc just to read some of their unique news articles.

Because of my laziness to go through all the online news sites one by one, I created Rojak News app to rojak (mixes) all the news sites articles into a long list. I can just scroll to read the headlines and if I am interested, I can read further by going into the full news article from the list.

I was basically addicted to the first version of Rojak News app. In the morning I can scroll through the news headlines for the day from different news sites in one single list and save the articles for reading later in the afternoon. I was using it for months without publishing it to Google Play Store. Sharing it among friends using gmail. So Rojak News was officially released when I decided to share this to the Malaysians and also Malaysians living abroad by publishing it to Google Play Store.
