What are users saying about Visual Voicemail Plus

E70%
by E####:

Completely Useless. Don't even get notifications of voice-mail until a day later and text to read messages doesn't even work, therefore it's definitely not visual voice-mail

M70%
by M####:

This used to work amazingly well! Out of nowhere, it became incredibly finicky. Sometimes it decided to notify me I have a message, most of the time it doesn't. Why am I paying for a service through Rogers that isn't consistent?! Terrible

M70%
by M####:

Two separate security apps recognize as containing malware. The more important issue is that the app has a delay from 10 minutes to 8 hours to notify regarding recorded voicemail. You read correctly - 8 hours!!

M70%
by M####:

Rarely works. Doesn't notify when you have a voicemail unless you open it and then it's delayed by 10 minutes minimum. Not to mention constant restarting in the background overhearing my phone and draining battery. Absolute Trash

M70%
by M####:

Called 9116 to activate which called 911 emergency instead. While installing my Antivirus app flagged as a threat. This app will also change your default voice mail notification.

B70%
by B####:

It doesn't tell me that I have a voice-mail unless I click on the app and it doesn't turn the voice-mail into text.

M70%
by M####:

I keep getting notifications a week late. I run a small business and this app has cost me thousands of dollars. Tried calling Rogers, no one had an answer.

M70%
by M####:

I have to call to check my messages. I don't get any notification, if I do, by some stroke of luck, it's a few days late. It's been like this for years. Terrible!

D70%
by D####:

Worked great on my Samsung Galaxy s 3. It has never worked on my lg g4.

M70%
by M####:

Since i upgraded to the s7 it keeps sending me text sayin 9116 status failure an doesnt work any more an also never told me when i got a voice mail at all plz fix this now

K70%
by K####:

You have to click the app itself and then it takes a while to tell you if you have a vm, so why not just check the vm via the phone? LOL. Joke app.

K70%
by K####:

Aparently this app has caused my phone to automatically send the word status to the 9116. I was told to remove the app because it no longer compatible with lollipop whatever that means.

K70%
by K####:

Love this app, always worked well for my Samsung S4. Just heard today when I reached to my provider that is getting discontinued no wonder isn't working on my s6 edge that I just got. I was looking forward to have it on my new phone but Rogers just told me impossible. .. so sad worked very well especially when in meetings. ..

K70%
by K####:

Unusually for bloatware, this is actually useful. But why does it need permission to watch everything I'm doing with the phone? Text transcripts of messages are useful but only partial. And sometimes it takes two or three days for a new message to show up.

C70%
by C####:

Never work properly on iPhone and now on Android, what's wrong with Rogers programming teams. If you don't like you job then leave your place for someone who will fix not just that app but a lot of apps on My Rogers

M70%
by M####:

I used to have vvm plus on my old android and since I updated to the new plan it's no longer available!!! Please bring it back! VM to text is horrible and the app way much easier and better!

E70%
by E####:

It seems like Rogers have stopped his support for the visual voice mail. I have the subscription for VVM plus, but the app says that I don't. It's also sending several text messages a day to 9116 with the message "status". I called tech support about it and are no help.

U70%
by U####:

Even that service is never working. Have difficulty at best of time hearing voice over any electronic device and reason why I got service as part of my contract. Now when I install an app from Rogers that is supposed to do what they are supposed to be doing automatically by terms of contract even the stupid app is saying- not subscribed. WTF is up with your service and apps Rogers!!?

K70%
by K####:

This has got to be absolutely the worst VM APP....actually embarrassing...

K70%
by K####:

Wouldn't load messages and constantly sent text 'status' to my phone. Activated visual voice mail feature with Rogers, waste of time...

K70%
by K####:

At best this app is unreliable. At worst, it might be infected with a Trojan, Android/Smssend.c2f7358665!Online

Q70%
by Q####:

Crappiest thing on my phone, draining my battery and crashing like hell. Way to go Rogers.

G70%
by G####:

I can't believe how many problems ive had with this app. It never ends. I get STATUS 9116 text messages , the actual messages sometimes dont appear for hours at a time, and they usually stop 3 or 4 times during playback . It's been a nightmare!!!

G70%
by G####:

Bad voice recognition

N70%
by N####:

As a big corporation like Rogers, I expected a lot more from them. The application never worked smoothly, as in never! Why does it say I'm not subscribed to the feature when I clearly am. How come there is no settings button to force sync? Why does it have issues and constantly send sms to my phone? We're ACTUALLY paying for the feature and it performs worse than free apps out there. Honestly, do you guys have no pride in your work and stand behind your product / brand?

T70%
by T####:

Apparently no longer supported on Android by Rogers :( Why does is constantly restart causing phone lag? 16 times in 5 minutes! Liked it better when my VM came in a text.

T70%
by T####:

I loved this app on fido for my s4 and it worked perfectly. Now that I switched to Rodgers and have and s6 edge it won't transcribe any of my messages. It says touch to download message on each message and then when I touch it says download can't be Completed. Very frustrating just want it to work right. It also doesn't register my messages till hrs after I get them.

L70%
by L####:

The app seems to work alright, but the app always starts muted, and I have to turn off mute in order to listen to messages. Why is it muted by default? Why do I even need to mute my voice mail?

D70%
by D####:

This app is garbage, had it not been for the fact I had to hit the star button to leave a comment I wouldn't have given it a star.it take three whole days for my messages to pop up. yeah! Go rogers.

T70%
by T####:

Wish the app wasn't ugly.... I really hope Rogers allows us to use Android M's built in visual voicemail... I am sick of all the text messages/errors this poorly updated/developed app allows us.

T70%
by T####:

Why are you no longer offering visual voicemail. You guys always seem to be working backwards.

T70%
by T####:

I love this app. There is nothing more annoying than having to check your voice mail but not with this app. You can just ready it or push play and listen to the message instantly. No need to call your voice mail, than enter a password and so on. It's just so convenient!

O70%
by O####:

Everyday I get Atleast 50 either incoming or outgoing messages with Status 9116. I have do idea why and csnt stop it...

T70%
by T####:

The Visual Voicemail application was finally added to the account after escalating through the Rogers Management Office , and potentially higher in the escalation chain. The VVM app works very well with the transcribing of messages left, with a good notification when it is unaware of the word it's trying to understand. UPDATE: This is working for my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

W70%
by W####:

Seriously fix this problem. My phone will automatically send multiple messages a day to '9116'. I'm fed up with this. And apprently a lot of other people are too.

T70%
by T####:

When it's open, it works quite well. Unfortunately, when it's open in the background and a message is received, it generates endless notifications every 30-60 seconds, until the message is deleted. This continues even after clearing the notification and sometimes even after listening/viewing the message.

T70%
by T####:

Was working on my nexus. Installed on new phone and doesn't work, Rogers won't support and say the feature is unavailable. I know it works but you have to get the right person in support to set it up. I can't be bothered. Not a rogers fan today.

T70%
by T####:

Never worked properly but I expected a big company like Rogers would have worked out the bugs in this app. A few years later and several updates and nothing has improved.

T70%
by T####:

I have to call my voicemail after every missed call because I never know if I have a message.

W70%
by W####:

From day one of installing this app it has been total trash. Crashes every time you breath on your phone too hard, takes a day sometimes to show a new message. Pretty expected from Rogers.
