OG Planting Planner

I certainly hope this is just a start for you guys. Buttons to "My Garden"s don't even work to name just one that doesn't. Plant list? You need categories and a million more plants. Sun requirements? Full sun / shade... for flowers ? Propagation? Seed/division etc. I could just go on and on. Like i said... I really hope this is just your start of this app.

Buggy! Kept freezing on screens, wouldn't let me add more than one plant to a garden.

This must be a beta version. And it doesn't even work...like...at all!

You put all the plants by garden area. You set up the calendar for the item. Info on each plant for planting. I cannot exit the program with the back button.

No offline database...

Rodale institute is a wealth of information.

Feel like you should add a fruits section for raspberrys, blackberrys, muscadine, etc. Could also use more herbs and vegetables maybe roses though i beleave you have got most the basics

Uninstalling it now. It worked in useful ways at first, but then the dates started screwing up and it became useless beyond serving as a quick reference. It is not a sufficoently useful program to get me to devote precious device storage on my phone, and it can't be moved to the SD card, so off it goes.

I manage multiple gardens that grow vegetables and flowers, and I love how I can do that in one app. I love that I can add plants before I plant them, to help me plan. I wish it had more details about companion planting and such. Also, lots of bugs lately, it gets stuck on screens and you can't navigate or add or scroll a list. Please fix soon! 7/25/15 -Still getting stuck! Grr

Will you be adding trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses? Those are the backbone of any good garden.

Interface is decent but anytime I would back out to last screen it would freeze the whole app. Worst thing besides give a virus is an app that feeezes.

Could be so much more. Plant list missing many common plants and varieties, seeing as this has been up for a long time I'm going to look elsewhere for my needs.

It's terrible

I did not appreciate having to guess to which weather station my town was closest. Why did the app need access to my locarion data if I had to give it? More importantly, I could not add plants-- the scrolling did not work even after the update. So disappointing--hope they get it fixed.

Needs many more flowers (no salvia?) and info as others have mentioned but bulk it up and you'll get 5 stars and a couple of bucks for it too.

I like the weather information that is found on the app. I do wish the vegetable selection had more choices. I intend to utilize the app to help with my gardening this Spring.

Can't save a garden. - Figured this out on my display the button was less than obvious. Can't add plants to a garden. Once the garden was saved the plants started saving. Update - planting dates show funny "3/12/115" on some screens. Planting dates are (guessing here) only for direct seeding. Plant list is good (at least for what I'm growing). Weather is also weird "-999.00 in" of precipitation??? No graphic display so you can see all plants on a calendar, display is text only in alphabetical order so you have to scroll through all your plants to see what needs doing. Seeding recommendation seems way too high. Basil, for example, has 100 seeds for "8-20 plants".

Cool ability to build a garden. But the planting dates are off and needs lots of work. Making a calendar would be nice. I'll stick to trusted web sites for now till this is updated.

A good start but I see no benefit of using this app. I was hoping for layout planning, companion planting, many more plants to choose from, etc. By the time I go through the app and choose the plants I want, I could have determined frost dates for my area, tilled up the soil, and actually planted the whole garden!

I liked the format but the app was sooo slow I could hardly use it. I could never get the "my garden" part to open. I know it's a free app but since there are ads, it should still be functional.

Won't work with LG optima. Keeps freezing up. Hope to use when fixed!

- Some cities are missing for California. - Some vegetables are missing as well. - You cannot edit the name of your garden. Other than that it is nice to use for the plants it does have information on.

Doesn't save. Buttons do not work. Unpredictable behavior like most Android apps. Android apps may outnumber iOS apps but iOS apps are 1000% better quality.

There are 30 MB of free space available but this app will not download completely. Saying Insufficient Space Available. I have made the attempt several times. I am disappointed. I deleted a few items to make 'room' for this particular app. It interested me quite a bit!

I was looking for something that would list seasonal gardens, based upon hardiness zones, what fruits or vegies to start in spring, summer, fall, and winter. Kind of more calander like too. Maybe which pests, or plant diseases to keep an eye out for, etc..

Ok info. Horrible lag and controls were spotty. Uninstall.

This is a really great app, they just need to add more vegetables and also a section for you to be able to take notes.

Doesn't allow me to view my plants after I saved they plants to my garden. Wouldn't show anything, uninstalling

Good idea, but my garden doesnt have a save button, add to garden button non functional and plant list is limited. Excludes trees, as sidenote

Needs more plants to pick from, mostly about flowers. Freezes up some what or can act slow. Great though cause it actually gives you alot of info on how, when to plant, and when its ready for picking but it doesn't tell you where to plant it, how much water it needs, about fertilizer. This app is the closes I have found for free to what I am looking for...

This app contains a lot of useful information. I wish it gave watering & sun needs as well. Maybe it does and I'm just over looking. But overall, nice little app.
