SMS Counter

It's OK it's just the wiget doesn't load when the phone turns on . Keep having to take it off and putting it back on a bit annoying. Also few more tweeks needed

Excellent at tracking and breaking down existing messages sent and received per contact per month. ||PROS: +Very simple interface +Can show monthly breakdown +Can show stats of current and previous billing period +Segregates Sent from Received messages +Minimal/unobtrusive ads ||CONS: -Can't count deleted messages (seems to ba an Android limitation) -Doesn't notify when approaching/exceeding SMS limit -Widget crashes on startup/reboot -Can't count messages sent with different SIM cards (for Dual SIM users; probably another Android limitation) -Can't show data more than one billing period ago -Can't export stats -For some reason doesn't get the names of all contacts (some show up as numbers even though the numbers are registered to contacts) and sometimes shows one contact multiple times (e.g. my top three contacts in the Sent SMS category for March is the same person with messages sent to the same number) ||Feature suggestions for app devs: •I recommend a toggle that can show data either by calendar month or by billing period •Export stats feature would be useful for some power users •Notification feature when approaching and exceeding the SMS limit •A feature to let users apply tags to contacts so data can be organized in different ways (ex: organize them by carrier since some carriers outside the US offer unlimited SMS to numbers in the same carrier but charge SMS to numbers in other carriers, organize contacts by social group, etc.) Great work on this app guys, I'm very impressed. Keep up the good work.

Perfect app if it had a Day and Week counts as well! Date range works good to do it manually tho! Gj

Urgent... If you're selecting a day from 1st oct 2015 to 2nd Oct 2015. Then what will be the filter select duration for which you're being in the SMS count ? Is it from 00:00 hours On 1st Oct 2015 to 00:59 hours on 02nd Oct 2015 ?

Neat and clear but would welcome a paid ad-free version.

When we delete sms i from inbox ,counter also delete those count of the deleted sms.. if u fix this, this is the app best of best ever

...there's a lot of work to be done. No option to exclude numbers, the widget has very few options (eg. choose what to display, customize size). Nice try but... keep working on it.

... but it counts wrong -.- it looks like the real total count is what '* on occasions' says... what is the other count?

After the dev reply to me previous review i install this new version (v1.1.0) and i must say it is 1000x times faster loading and building the charts, but the zoom problem is the same (it doesn't make the text bigger) and the best is it doesn't blocks the phone opening a graphic with 2000+ items in it, actually it is surprisingly fast! But the Google Charts isn't work for me even with a valid and working internet connection.

Google charts doesnt work, and the other chart engine is too hard to see. Maybe improve the zooming.

Best SMS counter, retains count even when i delete logs. Wish I can save my custom settings. App loses count after 2 months. Count isn't accurate anymore. Pls fix problem, developer

Don't install any other useless apps... just install this one... works like a charm

I thought this is the best app. But it is not. Because it counts the msgs that are in your inbox. If you delete any sma, msg counter will be changed. If you delete all messages, than message counter will become 0.

Would be better if deleting SMS didn't affect the count, and if it counted SMS sent through apps other than the stock SMS application. Suggestions: - show total SMS traffic (sent + received) so I don't have to do the math - display SMS traffic by the month instead of by whether it's sent or received - allow setting of custom periods: I want to know my monthly SMS traffic from the 16th to the 15th of the next month
