About Coimbatore Bus Guide
It’s a big problem for any new resident, who do not know the local language in any city to follow the bus systems and know which bus to take when and where to, at what time.“Coimbatore City Bus Route Guide” will render a solution to this problem and lend a helping hand to the troubled citizens, thus making their journey easier and saving a tremendous amount of time. This is an offline application. (No internet connectivity is needed) All the bus routes has been loaded in the database.

1.Source and Destination Based Bus Search
You have to enter your current location and the place you want to go. The application will show you the available buses. If there is no direct buses available, the app will guide you through connective buses.
2.Location Based Bus Search
You have to give the location as input to know the buses which are all passing through the given location.
3.Bus Number Based Search
You have to select the bus number from a list. The application will give the details about the selected bus.
4.Where am I
This option will be very useful for those who feel uncomfortable to ask the bus conductor about the stop details like where should you get down. This option will let you know your current location. To use this application GPS and mobile network should be enabled (important). You can also enable the live location updates in two ways of notification. This option can run in the background even if you minimize the application but do not close the application.
5.Tamil version
The application can be also usen in Tamil language

We have only updated the timings for very less bus routes( karunya nagar to gandhipuram and karunya nagar to gandhipuram).
Timings for every routes will be updated soon.

Great application for newcomer to city. However, can you think of integrating into google map? Or at least map based route suggestion?
