I wish I had TechCalc when I was a student - the best all-in-one I have seen.

Hey devs, the BMI calculator produces incorrect results. (eg: try 56kg and 1.74m height -- then use same figs in the sci calculator) :-( Addendum: Many thx for the correction. Prob was I had dyslexitized [sic] the formula in the sci calc to "weight squared / height"! (which on 1st-2nd quartile normal range BMI figs can give "realistic" similar results, so is easy to mislead.). My apologies for the miss-steak :-( and the squirrel has it right, again. :-)

It could be "the" best sci calc on the market, were it not for the following. In sci mode, depending on the state of the "swap arrows with parentheses" option, it is impossible either to insert an open paren at the beginning of the expression being edited, or a closed paren at the end. In general, the expression editing is a bit clumsy. At least, it should be possible to disable the pop-up messages about getting in and out of the editing mode. Also, the expression keeps scrolling horizontally while being edited? If vertical scrolling is enabled instead, the scroll position does not seem to follow the cursor across long expressions. Minor issue: the font in the display area can appear slightly too small or too thin: a preference to set its size and boldness would be useful.

Excellent calculator application and the best of all the others I've tried. Highly recommend!

Plenty of options, customization, and no infuriating ads when I am trying to pull my calculator up at work. Sold.

I painstakingly shopped a lot of calculator apps to find one that offered the most features and customization and this one absolute best out. Calling this a calculator is understatement. I realize there is so much access to math help on the internet but this is such a complete and useful package everyone should have it. It feels like the developer has really put their heart into this app.

A lot of effort has gone into this calculator, to include the many useful features. Great value!

The matrix activity is buggy -- you have to store calculations twice for them to be stored and you have to select spinner operations twice. Other than that, decent scientific calculator.

Nice calc app. Loads of feature & customization is possible. Absolutely value for money.

In basic and sci calc modes, sqrt(-1) produces -1 which is not correct, it should be an error. edit: I forgot to mention that I'm using the paid version, and that I have the setting to put the sqrt before the operand. edit2: yes, exponent precednce is enabled.

This Calculator is very nicely done and is very good tool for engineers. I bought this calculator. One important feature that this calculator is missing is in the engineering mode there should be a button to change value of nano to micro or micro to mile etc if included this calculator is the BEST.

Very responsive Dev. ==== Christmas wish list: a more "natural" way of entering calculations (as they would be written), ability to use Functions with Quick Formulas, arbitrarily large numbers for superfine precision.

Brilliant. Thanks for a wonderful app, request to ensure that values stored in memory in one calculator is applicable in another. For example, a value stored in scientific mode should be available in complex mode

Excellent work. Have not even tried all features. How about navigating in an entered formula? Like the Casio fx-82. Did I miss it?

Can't simplify any equation with parentheses correctly eg;6÷2(2+1)=1 not 9

Not backup custom formula. Not sync custom formula between my phone and tablet. Otherwise great calculator for multi purpose.

Update: The company replied to this review. That means a lot to me, so they get more stars. However, I now have a physical graphing calculator that changes modes easily. Unfortunately, that means that I don't care to take the time to find out how to use this digital one. I couldn't use it. It got stuck in some weird setting and there was no way for me to change it. Or should I say, there was no way I could find. Not intuitive at all.

Works great, is only $0.99 and it has a really cool periodic table built in that I wasn't looking for..

I installed the latest update today but the keybnoard still does not appear fully on the RLC screen yet it does on each and every other screens. Please advise. Thanks

Can't get antilogs to work; if number displayed and I press ln button nothing happens.

Excellent app does everything I need and more. Did have a slight problem but very helpful response and update solved it. Many thanks! Would be nice to see an option for engineering symbols k for x10³ etc. Just like that my wish was granted, latest update much appreciated. Recommend this to all my students now. Is there an option to display pi and e simply as the symbol without showing the value/number?
