This app is aimed at providing two important pieces of information:
1. The name of the current CDMA network (Sprint, Verizon, etc.), even when roaming. It's very possible that I've missed it, but I haven't found another app that displays the name of the network when roaming.
2. The data type for the connection (3G or 1x).
This is not supposed to be some revolutionary app, but just a tool to determine what roaming network the phone is on. It can be helpful when determining what PRL and roaming mode are best for your area and phone.
I didn't bother adding signal strength, tower locations, etc, because I don't personally find that data particularly useful. I'm generally only after the owner of the network and the data type.
Example: I've seen cases where a phone will roam onto network A when in "Automatic", but it will roam onto network B when in "Roam only" mode. This app is a quick way to find out that network A is actually Verizon, and network B is USCC.

If you're rooted and are on the sprint network, you must go to this Developer's website and get Roam Control. You will be so glad you did.

Will not let me install the original Roam Control through the new android market(playstore). Phone says its installed but play store dosent list it as installed. Also couldnt find it on play store.

Paid good money for Roam Control and was given a product that does not work. There's a reason all bad reviews for it are censored on the website. It doesn't work and it's still being sold, that's what's commonly called fraud. Emailed support and was not even given the dignity of a response. Avoid at all costs. Go flush $4 down the toilet, it will be more gratifying.

How am I supposed to enjoy an app that I can't pay for? The developer should take note that not all people who want to use this app are old enough to have a PayPal account. It would be nice if another way of payment could be available. Preferably through the market place
