Custom Text Tones for Android

Worked well until I purchased a new phone. Does not seem to work reliably on Moto Z Force Droid with Android 7.0. It plays the first second of the custom notification, but cuts it off after that. I need it to play the whole thing, since it is intended to wake me up as an automated work alert. This is with the "Do Not Disturb" functionality turned off.

Im using an LG-G6 and In spite of reading the reviews and trying different settings on and off I am unable to get a single ring-tone per contact. Nor am I getting ANY led flashing in either of the 3 contacts provided with the free version. If it worked I'd pay the .99cents for the full version, no problem but it just does NOT work on this phone.

Great except texts from unknown numbers are "ignored" that is it does not notify you should you receive a text from someone who is not in your contacts. Will buy app when this problem has been fixed.

Would be a decent app if it allowed a few more contacts. You can't silence the regular notification sound or you don't receive notification sounds for anyone else...needs work...I was going to purchase full app, but others seem to have had a lot of issues with no response from creator.

It's a very good app but when I receive the SMS how to reduce the volume or stop the notification sound ? It just keeps going on till the time sms tone finishes.

Worked after saving for 1 msg after that went to default tone. If you keep saving it works

Only let's you set 3 contacts. You have to purchase to do more.

It doesn't quite work. It plays the standard notifications and then it plays the custom ones when getting texts. So my phone vibrates and rings twice for every text. Very annoying. I can't find a way to turn off the phone's standard notifications without turning off this app as well...

This app is great! Once you figure out to use it, not only is it a lot of fun but my giving each person a unique ringtone, you can figure out who it is before even looking at the phone! Great app and thanks so much from the help!

It definitely needs a pop-up preview - then I would give it a higher rating and pay for it.

Vibrate doesn't work on my htc

App workedfine on s5 with lollipop. Doesnt work on s7 with marshmallow.

The app plays both notification sound the original one and the one who is selected for the contact, but this is ok for me

It doesn't disable the notifications on your messaging app for the contacts you are selecting. So both notifications will go off. What I've done is pressed "add group" and then added "my contacts" so that all of my contacts with be on this app. And I have them a default sound. Then I added special contacts separately and gave them special sounds. I then disabled my notifications for my messaging app the only downfall is texts from unknown numbers. But oh well.

Great app. I tried "Custom Alert" and "Ringo" apps and neither worked well. Custom Alert would not stop playing MP3 until finished, and Ringo would not work when phone was locked. Custom SMS works properly in all possible situations. Those people complaining they get double notifications need to get familiar with their phone - you need to disable notifications from your standard messaging app and let Custom SMS deal with notifications. Awesome app!

Just What I Was Looking For

Dies not even let you pick led light

Kept freezing up. Had to uninstall.

Lousy app. Keeps crashing. Doesn't work at all. I would rate 0 if I could.
