Galaxy S5 LED Flashlight

Most used app on my phone! I'm mom, wife, etc., and stay up late, get up early and I can roam through the house without waking up any of my loved ones! This free app couldn't be more valuable to me on a daily basis!

Works very well is cutting off on me a little early right now but I imagine I'll figure that out. Nice to know I have a light right there on my cell phone LOL. Thanks Galaxy KP

There was no assist light on my LG phone. I downloaded several that asked for too many permissions. SG5 only wanted camera access. App works very well and I'm very happy with having a light now.

Good App, but I don't know how this app will take care of the LED used for flash because on using app ligjt is coming very bright. May it damage the LED and be useless if so.

Samsung light app allows quick n easy light. We think a its great app and would recommend it to anyone who likes light. Anyone who needs light in regular and difficult situations. Anyone who is affraid of the dark. Maybe someone who has a way with shadow puppets will dig the light. If you want and in some cases absolutely need a brighter environment well samsung light app is the best. It has really gotten me out of some seriously dark rooms. It will brighten up your day, and most of the time your attitude.

This app does what i need it to do! If you want or need a real flashlight then go buy a REAL flash light but this app is using YOUR FLASH FROM YOUR CAMERA. Its not intended to replace a real flashlight, this is a great convenience, same as the camera feature. This is a CELL PHONE That's it. Great light, great cam. Thanks Samsung.

Like the fact it doesn't probe my phone without the grease! Very bright! My son has a GS5 and his was a built in app! When I saw this app I smiled! (Had a power outage last night... Got in from work to a dark house, my son drove me home, and used his till i got a lamp lit )Thanks for a useful tool !

I enjoy the fact it only uses camera permission. However, it is so bright I'm afraid it'll wake my little one up when I just need a bit of light without having to use the phone itself for light. If it had touch settings for bright brighter brightest would give it 5 stars. Regardless it's very bright imo.

What I love about this app is that is not invasive at all. Not need to have permission to access my phone except for the camera, and of course that's to activate the flash. This light is so bright you could blind someone for days; no need for peppers pray Lol.

If you just want a functional flashlight app without all the useless crap features, like flashing colored lights, this is the best one I've tried. Light comes on when you start the app. You can then toggle the light off/on while the app is running. light goes off when you end the app.

Excellent flashlight. Can't go wrong with this app. I've used it when I had to work on my car when I didn't have a regular flashlight. Great for home use too. Power goes out, instant flashlight. No need to fumble in your kitchen drawer to find one. Just use this one on your phone. I love it.

Your GS5 flashlight is great! I had tried "Super Bright Flashlight" in the past. Unfortunately their app wanted access to 5 different areas of my phone, including my contacts and other personal data. Your app only wanted access to the light, as it should be. Thank you Ryan Yoder

Phones come with a flashlight. But I took it off phone, by accident. So download this one and it works fine. I just seen something about flashlight that are more than 100k should not be used. Some flashlight are Spyware. Top 10 flashlight were studied. will plan to uninstall the light.

The app opens quickly and turns on upon opening, which is a feature I desire. There are no full screen adds which is also very nice. There is no strobe if you use that, but I dont need one, so I recommend this app.

Finally a flashlight that doesn't crash! I like how clean this app is compared to the highly rated one that crashes every 15 seconds to 3 minutes! And it doesn't make my flash hot to touch :]

Flashlight turns on from shortcut, no closing ads, pressing additional buttons. You want it on, it's on. Want it off, it's off! No BS!!! Let the kids have the strobes, if you want an app that does it's job without annoying ads or demands to pay, this is your app.

This thing is so f@$!ing great, I've spent all my time downloading it to every device I can get my hands on, even ones that don't belong to me!! It'll change your life and bring you your shoes and make you better looking and feed your cats.

I have used many smartphone flashlight apps in the past. This one is a must have. Very happy. My Galaxy S5 LED is super bright too. What took me so long to get this?

Had a previous app with more features. But all those bells and whistles-- I mean, lights-- served no really useful purpose. When I need a light, I need a light like this one. And I've got it every time.

As with other apps, though not as bad as some, more permissions must be given than are necessary for the application to function. Taking pictures and video do not require the flashlight app to function, yet the app requires those permissions. Why does it need to take pictures and video? Even if you own the phone, you don't really own it.

I love love love this flashlight app. There were two other flashlight apps I had & wanted access to everything. This app doesn't ask or want access, it just downloads and works awesome.. No complaints here, just love this app

Easy to use and has a large bright viewing area. The only thing it doesn't stay lit if you have to go to different app. If that could be fixed would give it 5

Most flashlight apps are clogged with so much bullshit that it takes many seconds before the light even come on. This light comes on within 2 seconds every time. At least that's been my experience. I love it and would even pay for it

Yet to find a torch app that actually works with the galaxy S5 while the official Galaxy S5 cover is closed (this appears to lock the phone and stop torch working) if I keep cover open it flaps in way and makes torch very hard if not impossible to use, if you bend cover back then it obviously covers the light!!! No win situation, and yet another app to delete!!

The one I used to have had the ad bar on the bottom which caused me to accidentally click the ad all the time. The problem with that is that it would turn off the flashlight. This one has no such issues.

don't like the ads and it goes off when the screen goes off. it's a little brighter then the system one already on here so I will stick with that one.

It is a lot brighter then the one that was pre installed on phone, but I wish it did not open up a screen that I have to back out of all the time. The original never opened a screen and I liked it better. Keep it simple without opening a separate screen and you might get more.

Still looking for an app that when u open it turn the light on and then exit from that screen and the light stays on. Or even one that u just tap the app and a flashlight turns on but doesn't take you to a completely different screen.

No problems so far. It works with the cover closed so it can't inadvertently touch the screen. Nice light, no footprint, easy to use. I like it...

This flashlight app works reliably every time I use it. Much improved over another product I had tried.

I like how this application dose not drain the battery perfusly and doesn't have the unneeded stroblights and what not. Another thing I like is that the light stays on for more than three minutes before turning off. Though I'd like the light to be brighter I can't complain much. This app doesn't ask for any personal information like other flashlight apps I've read looked at.

The other I had kept shutting off etc. This one is OK lol I hope I didn't jinx it! It doesn't have a strobe, it is not extremely bright, but I don't need it to be.

It functions as a flashlight just like I need. No strobe ability or anything but I didn't want that anyway. And it has a cute little sound effect for turning on and off the light c: you can mute the sound with the mute button within the app if you don't like it but I enjoy it, it makes me smile.

Very simple to use and ad banner is on top only does not bother me at all. Great app.

Best flashlight for my Galaxy s5! The only permission this app asked for was to access my phone's camera. How basic is that?! Easy to use & bright to boot

This app is one of the only apps that doesn't ask for permission to access your whole life's privacy. It only asks for permission to access 1 thing: your camera (for the flash).

Other apps that are not Samsung Galaxy S 5 Active flashlight are so do so much brighter. When I downloaded this app , needless to say I was totally surprised and very disappointed.

Well it lights up if I had to have a good light I wouldnt be using my phone light right . something convinent

Just your basic flashlight app. Non-obtrusive advertising banner. No defect or malfunctions. It always opens, and always lights the way. But I am tending to use the light app that came with the phone because I can just click an icon and it turns on... where as this one you tap open the icon where it opens up the app in another screen, and then you press another icon in the center of the screen to get the light on... just seem like the few times I need to use the light on this phone I found it a lot more convenient to have the direct access with my other light app.
