Galaxy S4 LED Flashlight

In my opinion, the only thing this app doesn't do that I wish this simple app would do is for me to be able to turn my screen off while the flashlight would stay on...if that were able to be achieved, I would have rated this app a 5. Besides that, the light is an easy on/off option and the light is very strong/bright. Thanks!

Great app. Love the one click open and on. Only thing is after light is on for over 3 minutes(indoors mind you) the phone goes into thermal protection mode. Had this happen several times. I'm sure it's just due to the drain on battery and heat from the LED but it's an issue you should be aware of. Other than that it works great.

So far I have tried about 7 different flashlight apps and didn't like any of them. They either came with stuff I didn't want or were just to cumbersome to use. This however is just perfect, well almost. The app is great apart from that on off sound (yes I know, you can turn it off but still) Other than the app name I would give this 5 starts. If you dropped those ANNOYING ads and charged a small fee this would be 10 stars. ADS SHOULD BE BANNED.

Works great evertime I need it!... easy to get to. Easy to use!...ads are at the top of the screen, tucked away out if the way but still easily accessible if you're interested! ...best light out there for my S4!!!!

The Galaxy S4 LED Flashlight is very helpful and handy for going places in a movie theaters or to find your way around when there is no electricity. I have truly say, that I have not used it at all much. But if something happens whether the electricity goes out or places that doesn't have electricity, I hope to use it in the future.

No that's not a reference to The Cars song. It's what this app is. In a world overrun with flashlight naps that need everything including your first born, this app is Tylenol because it just took that headache away. Galaxy S4 Flashlight and it's makers want only one and only thing from you, your camera. This is the first time I've been compiled to rate an app. Much thanks, such wow.

UPDATE: I've been using this a lot, more recently. It's prefect for in house use when i don't want to wake my hubby. Perfectly bright for up to 300sq ft. And bright enought up to 600sq ft. No multiple steps...access the app for "on" and back out (or press the button once) for "off"; easy, simple. Lastly it doesn't request access to things it has no business having access to. Just a few basic permissions and done. I highly recommend!!!

Sometimes I just want a flashlight. No disco light show, no flashing lights and sirens. Just a flashlight. Sure other stuff can have it's place. In my life.... not. No one I know will ever believe I said something about simplicity lol.

This is the best one. Press the app icon and it turns on without the need for additional input. When you don't need it just hit the back button and it turns off and closes the app. Of course you can turn it off and on inside the app too, but why bother?

No ads or other hold-ups to dredge through. Exemplary, quality light that works beautifully. Truly works the way EVERY app SHOULD work EVERY single time. Thanks for bringing common sense to a world left in the dark. BRAVO! Galaxy s7 edge

Bright, AD'S are there but really not bothersome in ne way, only problem I'm having is with it either closing unexpectedly or when I touch the short cut on my home screen sumtimes the flashlight will load up without any actual lite! Those 2 problems however seem 2 be occurring a minimal amount of times. all in all its good.

Works great. 5 stars! It would be cool if we had the option to change the colour of the button and sound effects but I like the green s4 perfectly

I've been downloading the wrong app. This flashlight is amazing. I love how it's so bright as I always sleep in the dark and when I need a flashlight I go start to this. It works wonders. I also like that it doesn't ask to take control over other stuff on your phone it just does what it's meant to do and that's BE A FLASHLIGHT.

The best flashlight app I've tried for my Galaxy S4. Small app with the option to move it to the SD card so it isn't using up any my phones storage space. Definitely a 5 star app in my opinion.

This app only accesses the camera light. What flashlight needs to know where you are geographically or what apps you have? The answer none. So why do all other flashlight apps do this? Beats me. In short all other flashlight suck. (Or at least most I've seen.)

Does what it says and is very quick to turn led on and because it's an app you can set it on your lock screen as a quick launch and as soon as you launch your led will be on, for me this is quicker on my galaxy than pulling down the settings from the top of my screen and turning on flashlight from there

This is a great device and I love simple gadgets. I give this a fight if they would change the icon for easy access to apps to identify flashlight. I did find an app with a yellow flashlight no ads in turns on automatically

I would rate this a five if it would stay on when I am using other applications. As soon as I long press to bring up a second screen, the flashlight turns off. Otherwise, it's fine.

I like that it has no ads. It also doesn't get access to things like your contact, txt, etc. Which is a big thing for me. East access to turn on and off.

Ads still present but not at the bottom of the screen so I don't keep hitting them and turning off the light.

It works good & I like that there aren't a bunch of adds popping up. The only thing I dislike is the fact that the flashlight immediately turns on when I click on the widget. I would rather click on the widget & then click on the center power switch to turn on the flashlight as needed.

The app works great every time. The light is very bright and is perfect for my needs. I would say this light is about twice as bright as an app I had downloaded previously. Great flashlight. 1/20/2016 - still a great flashlight.

This app us so fantastic. Bright. Direct. Quick. Setting up camping after dark? Need light before getting into packed supplies? Awesome.

I like how I don't have to turn it on or off every time I open the app. Very handy when you need a quick light. And it's as bright as any other flashlight apps out there.

To many light apps offer different bells and whistles. This app gives you just what you want, a light. Easy to find off switch so you're not wasting precious battery power. Well done. Samsung S4

Only complaint is. I dont like the sound the "on" button makes. I also whish it had a strobe function and or dimmer. Hell a on timer whould be awesome to

The app works great and don't crash. But, when i lose wifi signal the light turns off when the pop up comes up and tells me to reconnect. Also i would realy like a version that didn't have the adds on it, realy dont like apps with adds.

Its very bright an also good for looking for things in the dark when ur spouse it's sleeping. I would recommend this 2 any of my friends a anyone who reads tHis.

I like it...but it turn off on its own sometimes and thats very inconvinient. And maybe i havent found the settings yet, but i would like a lockscreen button too so that i dont have open my fone each time.

Unlike other flashlight apps this one is basic and all you need, no flashy lights, no police light flashing, no extra bull to take up the space on your phone. It starts up in less than a secone, the last app took 8 seconds to startup, way too long.

I am going to go ahead with seeing the other apps for me a brighter flashlight..

Extremely bright! Not sure why there is a separate flashlight for the S4 and the S5 when they both work the same on my phone. I do prefer the opening sound of the S5 flaslight

I was looking for a widget that mysteriously vanished from my Samsung G4. This isn't it. Really simple app that I applaud for its clean interface after it's launched but all I want is an app with a widget that will turn the flashlight on or off without launching another app that needs to be exited. This app fell short of expectations but only slightly..

I tried other, fancier lights that were nice, but often the lag time between hitting the switch and turning in the light was unacceptably long. This app is simple and fast.

Straight forward n loads fast.very functional never once failing me.I like the sound the power off/on switch makes n when I gotta be all ninja there is option to silence.thanx

Only problem with this light is that it turns off auromatically. I only use the light because I cannot see where I am going ! The light is very bright. I love it when it shines.

No annoying ads in the way, simple and works as intended.

Awesome probably zaps the battery if used for any length of time. ..but bright enough for a dentists surgery. ...Nuff Said !
