I have tried a lot of apps and this one is clearly by far the best app to control your fitness trainings, managing reps and rest. The tabata clock is really useful. The best thing is the flexibility when creating custom workouts. It is quiet hard to be improved. The only thing I don´t like very much are the graphs, yet quite 5 stars worthy.

Very useful application with a few extra tools and helps. Its relatively intuitive and easy to create or use set routines. However, I have a home gym and don't always follow a specific training program. I can't see a way to log random exercises as I go, without creating a new routine first.

Allows just about any sort of routine. You can set a programme with fixed routines but'change the exercises, reps, weight and timing as you're going asking. It also stores body stats and history. ; Anyone who weight trains should find this fits easily with what they do.. Fairly regular updates to the app keep on making it better.

Great app but when i reset my phone my dropbox backup wouldnt restore. Lost a lot of progress over the last year. A small issue though. Great product. Would be nice to see syncing with mfp or other fitness trackers.

But would like to break down exercises more, for instance, I record warm up sets, so have leg extensions, 2 sets, 8-10 reps, then at end of quad exrcises finish with leg extensions 4 sets 8-10 reps. altering one alters the other, which is not helping.

A simple app - does exactly what is expected of it and more. I use it on my HTC Desire S without any problems. I was easily able to input the workout schedule assigned to me at my local Gold's Gym and track my workouts daily. The developer is an awesome person - I found a very minor bug and he identified and fixed it in less than 24 hours of me reporting it! How cool is that!!! Was very curt and prompt in his replies

I've been using this app for a couple years. Good layout, nice to collect your info in one place. The last update erased all my database and will not restore any of it from back up. I have to start from day 1 again and build a new program. How do I expect to make progress?? Last version was better because of this.

I'm a long time iOS user who has recently come to Android. I had an old, unsupported gym app in iOS that I loved. This one appears to fill that gap, mostly. A couple of nagging things: 1. Dropbox Backup I am always interested in how my apps will back up their data in the case of a lost/damaged/upgraded phone, and I found that there is the option to back up to Dropbox. Excellent. I select "Upload to Dropbox" and click the "Backup" button. All goes as planned. I see Gym Book files sitting in my Dropbox account and I"m happy. A few days later, backing up to Dropbox by clicking that same button does nothing. The app gives no feedback and I can't seem to figure out why it doesn't work. 2. Spelling/Grammer Issues There are a few spelling/grammar issues in the app. From what I gather, this app is built in Russia, so with the language barrier, that's understandable. For example: If you go into Tools -> Settings -> Next, you see a button called "Standarts", which should say "Standards". When creating a new exercise, reps are referred to as "repeats." In reality, reps stands for "repetitions."

Allows just about any sort of routine. I'd give it 5 stars if a) it allowed you to add an exercise during the workout; b) you could change the settings (e.g. rest between sets) within the workout and c) the history was a bit easier to view. But that's nitpicking; anyone who weight trains should find this works easily with what they do..

Must be able to input rest intervals between sets at the workout planning stage, not in exercise description! Otherwise a good app, bit because of the way the rest time is implemented, I need to change whole exercise description to change the rest interval. E.g., I want to be able to do bench press with 45 second rest on Mondays and do fewer reps with shorter rest on Tuesdays. Its a pain to do now. Please fix!
