Pixelesque - Pixel Art for Android
I keep losing my progress just because I go and do something else on my phone. Tat seems like a huge design flaw.
Definitely the nicest look and feel of any pixel art app on android. However, it desperately needs zoom and eyedropper tools. This is the only reason I dont use this app more often. Of course things like layers and selection tools would be nice, but they are not as crucial.
I'd like to be able to zoom. Secondarily I'd like to use in portrait. I'd pay for this application with those features! Also a confirm quit dialog would be terrible. Please don't add that. Make it a setting maybe, but when I hit back I mean to go back.
Simple and intuitive app to use. Reminds me of the hours I spent on Mario Kart DS designing logos. Definitely recommended for people who like their art blocky and 2D.
It'd be nice to be able to open small images that weren't made on this app, or were made on a different device. This app actually does zoom. Its a little tough to use, just use the normal two finger pinch/spread. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. Swipe with two fingers to pan around while zoomed in
Dev fixed the issue within hours of my mentioning. Adore this app!
The main thing an app needs is easily accessible tools for the user and this app has everything you could need right there on the screen at once. The way the color selection is implemented is also very convenient as it remembers what colors you recently picked and that it is once again very easy to use, yet one can be as detailed in color as they like. Freaking great app!
REALLY NEEDS EYE DROPPER! It's the only thing keeping this from 4 stars. Then selection tools would make this 5 stars
The UI is sleek, utilities are unfathomable, and the overall design and construction is impeccable. I only have one small request though, a copy and paste/stamp tool could save a little time while I'm in a hurry... But don't bother at all if it will be any trouble.
This is a really great app, no question. Best pixel editor I've found on Android. Features include: Pencil, Eraser, Line, Rectangle, Ellipse, Fill, Color Picker, Color History, Undo, Redo, Zoom, Custom Resolution, Exporting. Features not yet included: Importing (you can only work with art you created with it), Custom Palettes (create, save, load), Layers, Eye Dropper (select existing colors) I really hope the developer adds these tools, because the app has great potential.
Just what I needed. A suggestion would be to have an option for a lighter default background as it is difficult to see black lines.
This is the one and only pixel editor I've been using even after changing from HTC to Alcatel it never disappoint. Most notably feature; vast color palette, sharing feature, clean and simple user interface! Love it!
a very necessary zoom feature. Otherwise the tools and the colour picker are quite nice. Uninstalled in favor of Pixel Art app by spc-m.
It doesn't save the images to the hard drive. So let's say you created an entire portfolio and you did a factory reset assuming that your pictures would be there when you reinstalled the application. You would be sorely disappointed. No one wants to use an art program that doesn't have a secure saving system.
Really great I just wish it had a colour picker tool and a selection too to cut/copy/paste. Bigger imafe size than 64x64 would be nice also. Great work and thanks!
In stars its a 5/5 but in per cent its a 95%....if it had the feature to animate and add frames it would be perfect for all pixel art...aside from that the usability of this software is simple and smooth
When playing Minecraft on the PC i can easily build what i created on my Nexus!
Very basic, easy pixel art. However, I noticed that there is no eye dropper tool. That could be helpful in future updates- however, it was not a problem. Great app!
ive choosen a bad name for my section/pixel art and i would like if u would add a delete button ....or if there is one already i cant seem to find it....thank you for reading :)
Everything works just as it should; intuitive and flexible too. The only thing I'd wish for would be zooming in/out working, so that I could work on more than 40x40 pixels or so on my phone and still do detail work! (The app has a 64x64 limit, but my eyes and finger accuracy are the issues.) I'm happy that I bought it and do not regret the purchase a bit. (Later edit: Color picker or, failing that, a longer-than-16-color color buffer would also be awesome.)
This is only four stars because there's not many apps on able to get on this version.
This app has two major flaws which have taken it's rating down. One. It needs the ability to zoom in and out. This is pretty much standard in all pixel editors I've used so far. Two. The back button NEEDS to be fixed. One accidental press of the back button and the whole app quits, destroying any progress or image you've created instantly. This needs a confirmation screen rather than just being an instant quit.
I could recreate my childhood pixel heroes in an instant and export them as a png, could be used as icons in launchers! :D its a bit confusing when painting dark things with de current background though, yet i can live with it. Great job!

This app is amazing!!! I can finally draw 8 bit heros like final fantasy 2 and 4!!! love this app, but it would be nice if the menu for loading a drawing could be locked landscape..... over all, AMAZING...
And maybe a way to set the background color by default

Awesome app. Easy to use. You can jump into at the touch of an icon (no annoying loading screens). I use it to make Minecraft items for a mod im planning :3
I found this app very useful for creating sprites for one of my projects, although a 'Zoom' tool would make life a bit easier...

The app was exactly what I was looking for. Animation support would be great. The only real complaint I have is the open file activity just gives me a blank screen on my Xoom (3.0).
My kids love to draw using this app. Keep the good work!
Pretty fun, but you have no control over pixel density.
If can delete file, then I will give 5 stars. Anyway, nice app, bro :)
This is one of the greatest apps of its kind, but a zoom inout mode and a 'fill-in' tool (usually symbolized as a paint bucket in most "paint" programs that have it), and a 'drag-and-drop' tool. Those three features would really improve this already terrific app!
I have seen and installed better pixel art makers but this one is not too good. On my S note 10.1 i made a really good Assassin's Creed® logo, saved it, was about to show my friend when i couldnt find it. Looked on every file but it wasnt there!! I uninstalled this instantly! Worst ive ever used!

Great, completely free app. Don't know if you still develop this but I have a few suggestions: Give me an option to make the background tiles in a different colour. If you draw a line, show a number how long it is. Keep up the great work!
