RiverFlows for Android
Awesome for whitewater kayaking levels...within a few minutes I added my favorite and benchmark rivers and now at a glance I know what's runnable and not. One click for the graph to see trends. Replaced going to a bunch of websites and trying to remember what i prefer for each river and gauge.
This app is faster then searching for individual streams on the usgs website. Its also just as accurate. The favorites option makes it even more responsive. Great app!
Very useful, it would be nice to get precipitation and reservoir levels too.
Very useful but stopped working out of nowhere
I'll gay don't tell u nothing but water flow usgs data bookmark um it's faster and better
It's the best app for viewing your favorite rivers levels! Easy to use and very accurate!
Best app of its kind. A must have for any angler. Much appreciated!
Works well with the rivers I use it for
No longer loads sites.

No forecast?
This app is awesome! It pulls the guage info from the respective agencies and displays it quickly and neatly. I see negative reviews for reasons like "it doesn't list this river or creek!" If there isn't a guage on the stream how the heck is it going to be listed. This app pulls data from already existing, publicly available websites. Jeeze peeps come on! Understand how an app works b4 criticizing it.
Love this app. Accurate and up to date knowledge. The corps. Has data for Raytown lake and Juniata river around huntingdon, County, Pa. Wish the locations were catagorized or labeled a little clearly. Other then that no complaints. Lake temp, river depth and speed. Avid yak fisher/catfisher
I've had this app for several years now and the Harry S. Truman dam at Warsaw site says couldn't process data; missing headers. It has been down for a year now. That's my most used site. Fix it.
Samsung S5, this app works great! Has all the river flow data for the rivers I regularly fish here in Montana and Wyoming.
The AHPS gauges are no longer working, please fix or update app
Very helpful now that the water is dropping
Runs consistent with NOAA.
Select your fav rio gauges and check flows quickly!
Use this all the time to help with boating the rivers by me!
Great app for those who are outdoorsmen or who live near or on the Rivers.
Spey Doctor
This app provides more gage options than any other app. Put in my fav 12 gages from Missouri to Ohio in just a couple minutes. Now see all at a glance. Would be nice to be able to group gages by river so I can just see data from one river.
Its a good way to know how recent rains or lack of, are going to affect my normal fishing spots.
I see no reason this app should need additional permissions to operate. Prior to this update I was very happy with operation and info provided by this app.
Come on. Todd's Fork Creek after heavy rains is the best kayaking in S.W. Ohio & it's not listed????
Being an avid fly fisherman and kayaker, this is a great app on both my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and LG G3.
Helpful app. for sure!
This is my go-to app for planning kayaking outings. It has always worked great. I appreciate the ability to reorder favorites.
River Flows
Needed current information on the rising river and was able to get it quick and easy. Thanks. Can we see more than one dataset on a graph at a time?
I have had this app off and on for three years to keep an eye water levels for fishing. It still sucks. Freezes and now wont even load
Use it everyday. I get all the info I need for work in the palm of my hand.
With exception of Appalachiacola river in wewahitchica fl has no data
PROS: Easy user interface. Faster than referring to USGS website directly. CONS: Doesn't have the ability to save user-specified high/low thresholds for safe boating levels. This could be remedied with the addition of a NOTE field under each river gage placed in favorites.

Good but needs average flows so you can know how high the water is actually running.
For those who want to keep track of river flows
With this app you can easily clean out your cellar. Just check when water is moving fast and send your baggage on its way

App is great. I would like to see a notification setting for the water temp. Coming out of winter up north that's the most important thing to focus on, and soon as it hits a certain mark for 3 days straight I'm running to the river.
