SMS Backup & Restore

App works great but I only occasionally do backups usually when I'm about to do a complete reset of my phone. I bought the pro version years back and just went to use again for the first time in a good while and notices ads and some features disabled. Looking at the reviews this appears to the result of the app bought by a diff dev. It's BS the dev change took away something that was previously paid for as that is theft. I shouldn't have to pay to get the pro version back.

Absolutely incredible for when you are switching your phone or performing a factory reset. It is the fastest app that I've found at uploading and downloading your messages and calls.

Amazing always find it handy when you wanna do a factory reset on your mobile or backup important things.

I paid for the Pro version years back anx now I have ads again? I see the new Pro version version is $4.99. Holy Cow.

Great app.

I used this recently 8n anticipation of a new phone. Process works decently, be prepared that restoring the messages can take some time depending on how many messages you have. What I noticed after restore is that many messages have a specific date attached, 12/27/2017. This is an incorrect date for these messages as some of them are years old.

Did the job well, easily transferred SMS' pretty easily. Bit slow but no big deal. Just wish it wasn't so intrusive about using all these features I don't need, like scheduled backups etc.

After trying several other backup apps I found this one, it's beats all the others. New owners now have ads. Nice I can turn them off but if you make them a permanent part of the app I'll dump it. No app is good enough to be accosted by ads.

Won't backup anymore since last update. Continues to say Network error whether I use wifi or mobile data. Nothing is wrong with my network connection. I'm baffled. Worked flawlessly before the last update on my LG V20. If it's not fixed I will be forced to uninstall.

It's probably me not being able to figure the app out lol. But, this app would be AMAZING if it actually backed up both sides of conversations. My backups only show the incoming messages and not the outgoing/my replys. Am I the only one with this problem?

Just updated to latest version. Disappointed to see ADS in the app! But in the settings, there is a function to remove ADS. Might as well not put ADS in the first place.

Always nice when something you've trusted for a long time gets sold to someone you know nothing about, without warning. ☹️ Guess I'll be finding a different solution to backing up my messages.

I've been noticing lately that my backups have been skipping multiple texts in a conversation. I have to go back and screenshot texts, which makes me wonder how many I've missed in the past.

It has worked.Pls answer me one thing when we restore calls does it effect total call timer? If it does effect call timer is it for both sim slot or one for sim 1

Asks for full drive permissions rather than just to manage own files. Too dangerous and not compatible with Advanced Protection

Only does full backups as opposed to incremental. 1.3gb each backup gets expensive...

Works good. But paid for this app before current developers bought it. Now getting ads. Yea, don't want them and get rid of them.

Not as reliable as it once was. Been using this app for years and every since the change in developers, the app can't seem to automatically backup on schedule. I chose daily backup, and it says that the next scheduled backup is YESTERDAY. No wonder there are no more notifications of successful backups. If this was an Android version issue I'm on Oreo), at least update the app for optimizations and fixes.

Just installed. Easy interface. Can select certain conversations to back up. Love that! Use with any text app. So far, love it. Can auto delete conversations after 30 days ( or more). Looks to have all of the options that I need. Wonderful.

Please allow your users to disable any UNWANTED notifications, such as those annoying reminders to set up a backup.

This app is what all the other tools app should be like: Light, fast, efficient, intuitive, handles the job really well and super easy to use. Google Drive backup? It has it, and setting up is super quick and easy. Backing up and restoring are super easy and quick. And it even looks good, to boot! Where's the option to donate?
