ProShot for Android
My default photo app, just that when I use my device in landscape mode to take pictures, the image appears upside down (only when the phone physical button is on the right side). Also, you promised a new feature in one week (in May) and now is August already! Promise I'll fix my rating when you'll fix the app. Cheers!
I've been using ProShot for quite a while now and there's many things I like and a few I don't. Most of the dislikes have been fixed in the re-design but one welcomed feature seems to have been removed. The ability to use the flash as an always-on torch was very helpful for taking pictures at night, or when taking macros. As small as it was this was probably the thing I used most as it differed from all other camera apps. Now it's gone...
I really enjoyed the app and love all the features on and to come to it, however, I'd give it a better rating if the DNG output was not corrupted with every shot taken. Not sure what the issue is but it progressively corrupted more images the more I used the application.
Image rotation bug LG Nexus 5X running Android 7.1.2. ProShot version 5.0.8. Image quality: RAW images Photos taken in portrait mode are rotated clockwise by 90 degrees. Photos taken in landscape mode are rotated clockwise by 180 degrees (they are upside down). Is there any additional information that I can provide that will help you fix this? Rest of the app is good. The incorrect rotation makes it tedious to work with the app, and will be a useful fix.
This app used to be my go to picture app for so long. But lately, it will not work. I have uninstalled, and still nothing. It will not take a pictures, and keeps telling me it failed to start. I need to take good pictures for my online store, and this app did an amazing job at that. Now it won't even function.
Having problems with the raw format on my Huawei P10 lite. All the picture are in different colours from the real shot, almost inversed colors like red is blue.
I purchased it for it will take raw photo...but no option is coming. They should tell to wether my Moto g5 plus is compatible or not. This camera app is not at all equal to my Moto g5 plus camera app. it can't bright the image. It can't be used for indoor. Don't buy. Waste of money.
Use to be my fav....not anymore. Lack of support, camera doesn't touch focus on my last 2 phone s7 edge and pixel XL. It's pretty useless now. Sorry man. I've tried to submit these bugs, but your to focused on adding features instead of fixing bugs and making it useable.
I like the camera and the app layout but only when it works. About half the time when I open the app it fails to start and I've to go onto settings and force stop before it will open again. Using a HTC Ten. Pity because if it worked it would be the best camera app on android
Great UI but it does not support full functionality of some phones cameras. The Google pixel can shoot video in 1080p @ 120 fps and 4k @ 30. The app limits 1080p to 30 fps. Also for stills there are other apps that can control shutter speeds slow enough for long exposure photography, which would go great with this apps manual focus however ProShot stops at about 1/2 ss. I do like that the app will let you shoot at 1/8000 ss though, I just think the native app on the pixel might make ProShot not worth it yet.
The app has huge bug that doesn't allow autofocus to work. It has a fixed focus at about 3 inches. What a shame. IOS version of this app is great. $5 down the tube. Buyer beware.
UPDATE: Focussing still bugged on LG G5 :( Great app, looks a lot nicer than the images shown above (they're from an old version) and you can change the ui colour (I hate that green I'm afraid!). Focussing is very buggy on my LG G5 and sadly you can't use the wide angle lens (not that I ever expected this though). Infinity focus is also incorrect and objects are out of focus. Built in image viewer is too low res to check 16mp photo sharpness. UI is intuitive. Exposure adjustment wheel is truly a gift on the G5 which tends to over expose (but awkwardly not always). Will keep an eye on the app as once focussing bugs are worked out it'll be by far the best app for taking pictures.
Great app for manual controls of camera especially manual controls for video. Not perfect, but quite easy to use. A great recommendation to all who do not have a native pro mode in their phone's default camera app.
A fast camera with great manual and automatic controls. It should also be noted that the shutter noise can be muted via the main volume. Money well spent.
The app is good. Works fine in my lumia 1020. But in Motorola I am not getting custom iso or shutter speed. Etc. Don't k ow why. Please help
When i had a Nexus phone. This was the best Camera app bar none and ever since i upgraded to a Galaxy S8+ the app is broken and incomplete. All i can do is the shutter speed, ISO and White Balance. 4K can't be recorded due to the app still not having an implemention for it's 4K resolution. While it was the best camera app on the Nexus 6P... On the Samsung it's an oddity. Something that can take photos but doesn't offer the full control that the app promises. Maybe in the future it'll work but for now I'm using Samsung's camera app because it's the only option i have. I miss the way Pro Shot renders DNGs and i miss using the interface. 5.0 has promise but because it doesn't work, it's a 2 for me.
Great UI, good controls, the hability to turn off nr is very welcome, for the app to be really useful on my use scenario I just need dual camera implementation for LG g5, v20 and g6.
New update seems to have broken focus on the LG G4. Both autofocus as well as touch to focus dont work properly and since there's no manual focus assistance, most of the photos taken are out of focus. At the moment the app is unusable, hopefully it will get fixed soon.
I had been using this app for a long time, it was one of the best. V5.0.* onwards killed it for me. Back to crashing on launch, when selecting custom folder.
Hey! I really enjoy your app, but ever since you released the big update I have tons of issues. It's inconsistency has caused me to miss important shots. The two biggest issues I have currently are: A) The app crashes about 30% of the time on startup (restarting is quick and it usually works the second time) B) While shooting video in manual, quite often I have to re-dial in some of my settings (mostly ISO) after it starts recording. I use the Google Pixel XL. I really hope you clean the app up, I enjoy the new UI but its bugs are very frustrating. I would have gladly given it a 5-Star rating prior to the overhaul update.
Overalls nice camea app. Would have been much nicer to have Beauty mode on front camera. I don't get why people give this app low ratings. Keep it up guys
Too many bugs right now, including upside down viewfinder and pics in landscape, and some settings greyed out and unchangeable for no obvious reason. I had high hopes for this, but cannot use in current state.
Using a Galaxy S7 Edge...have had this app for some time now....loved the capability, but was very buggy pre-5.0 release.... Now some things seem more reliable, but the camera will not focus currently (07JULY2017)....looking forward to using this version 5 once the bugs have been worked out...
Manual focus is a nightmare. The app only focuses what is straight up at the camera. Nothing else. Please fix this. I have LG G5 running Android 7.0. Manual focus does not respond at all to my taps on the screen.
Glad I decided to give the app another try on the Xperia XZP (did not work on the Z5 before). It's definitely a contender, even with the improved Sony camera. However, it seems like I could only shoot at 8mp at most when the phone has a 19mp camera. Is there a reason for this? Also, if there's a way to adjust the processing of photos so that I can get rid the built-in camera's overprocessing quirks it'll be the best app ever :) the Sony camera tends to buff up the clarity and contrast, which looked horrible to me. Midtones get extremely washed out for some reason as well. Just describing the problems I'm facing so that you could see where I'm coming from :)
I can't get rid off noise canceling! When it s off, there s so much sharpening. And when it s on,they quality is so bad.Like it s so smooth with low details...I have an s7 edge
Awesome camera app, exposure control is now available in OnePlus 5. Highly recommend it! Keep up the good work.
Good app, but it keeps crashing every second time I try to open it. Basically need to force close it to make it work. Nexus 6P with 7.1.2.
Wonderful app, best camera app I've tested. Despite what I read in the reviews, I experienced zero bugs whatsoever. However, I do wish it supported megapixel cameras over 8mp, my phone has a 21mp can but I am locked at 8mp. Hopefully however, support for higher megapixels is added in the future.
What is going on? I can't use the camera at all after deleting photos, it just goes black and all features stop working. Please fix it
IMO the best camera app out there. You can take 800$ camera-level photos, considering you've got something like the s8 or Pixel. Go for it, you'll -probably- not be disappointed.
This application now performs very poorly compared to Google, Samsung and Open Camera applications.
Basic features like iso and shutter speed "won't work on Moto g4 Plus", which I think should be the main advantage of this app. The included camera app have this 2 features.
the app keeps crashing. Freezes as soon as its opened. Iso settings only has auto function. Uggghh !!
The app frequently closes while I'm using it. Shutter speed only goes up to 1/4 s on Nexus 6P
Looking forward to long exposure capabilities, especially really long ones, like seconds to 5 minutes etc. Keep up the good work.
New update keeps crashing on Oneplus 3T
Crashes at startup the first time you load it
Freezes on OP3T, can't use it.

I like the new update but once again full of bugs. Can't focus nor manual focus on my LG G5. Can't delete pics. Takes a bit over a second to snap a picture after pressing shutter button. Etc.. Needs normal rotation, now it rotates like a normal app and not in a "live" way. I love the picture quality and the ability to disable noise reduction. It removes the extra-processing from Samsung and LG (contrast and sharpness) to keep the results very natural (DSLR-like). Raw is great too!
