Austragungsort des regionalen Top-Fußball-Events in der kalten Jahreszeit, das heuer zum zehnten Mal stattfindet, ist wie immer die Sporthalle am Tabor. Anpfiff für das Turnier der Extraklasse, bei dem es neben dem Gesamtsieg auch um den Steyrer Stadtmeistertitel geht, ist um 13 Uhr. In der Gruppe B treten SV Garsten, Union Dietach, USV St. Ulrich, Union Wolfern und erstmals SV Losenstein gegeneinander an.

In der Gruppe A treffen die fünf Steyrer Vereine Vorwärts, Bewegung, Amateure, ATSV und Stein aufeinander. Immer ein Genuss beim JAKO-Hallencup powered by Porsche Steyr ist der VIP-Corner, in dem auf die Gäste zum Beispiel kulinarische Schmankerl der Gourmetfleischerei Zehetner und der Bäckerei Fröhlich warten. Für die Getränke verantwortlich ist die Brauerei Steyr. Außerdem gibt es eine Verkostung edler Weine aus der Kellerei Purkhart.
