RIDGID Level for Android
???? Badarse lil app here! ???? All one needs and a lil extra, AND best of all...NO ADS!???? Kudos all the way bra!???? **PS, these idiots who hate the app are hilariously stoopid..????..vote Trump much?¿(ROFL)
Easy to use and very accurate. This is the only Level app on Google Play that is made by a real tool company (RIDGID)
At first it was really off and I was about to remove it. Then I realized my G3's internal motion sensor must have needed attention. It was way off. Calibrated sensor and now works like a pro!
Pretty disappointed that this app isn't like the old one. The old one is very accurate and more precise, as it measures in 0.1 increments...
So I think this level would be a bit more accurate if it would deduct for the volume button and power button on the phones. My Note4, it's power button throws it off at least 1 degree. Thanks, hope to see an update for this soon.
Worked great first time time around! Set up and started level. Easy intuitive option buttons, easy change level/bubble/line options. I was pleased with this one!
This app is extremely accurate, depending on your phone. If you have a cheap phone with accelerometer only it sucks, if you have a nicer one with acc. And gyro it will work much better. Having a number to look at is very nice compared to a bubble between some lines, especially when I don't have to go looking for the level.
Very handy for general purpose. Do not use this if ultra-precision is required - consider your device is not calibrated and probably doesn't have machined sides.
great for horizontal direction. useless 4 vertical direction. with this u can not check if something is vertical
Very nicely done, and totally free. Not even any ads. Re: accuracy complaints, that has nothing to do with the app -- that's a function of the user's phone. I.e., hardware.
NOT ACCURATE. Installed on a Samsung Galaxy S7. The level is not accurate, off by about -10 degrees. I used a professional laser level, a standard ruler type manual level, a machine shop Bubble Level and this app. Where all three of the manual levels read absolute zero (perfect level) this app showed off level by negative -10 degrees. If you want what you're hanging to be level, don't use this app. You'd get closer if you just eyeball it.
Excellent!! Even worked on my android 4.0, which had been dropped hundreds of times!! All who are saying it doesn't work must be using it wrong..
I second the fact that the app is extremely well made it's just a matter of your phones hardware. My Droid turbo 2 is almost as good if not as good as a handheld level. I'm a lead maintenance tech at a resort and I use it almost every day now making it much nicer than carrying an actual level with me whether I'm fixing a tp holder or installing new cabinets.
There's not a damn thing wrong with this app. It works great for me. Heck, I've even compensated for the buttons on the sides of my phone. If people would learn to use their phone and settings properly (and not have so many junk apps on their phone interfering with other apps) they would be quite happy.
I dnt understand any of the negative comments you must be smarter than the smart phone your using and smart enough to use it correctly or either your just negative ppl I love it. I'm a hvac sheet metal Mechanic and service tech and as soon as I saw rigid on the app I new it wouldn't be a waste of time.
Incredibly intuitive and easy to use. I'd recommend taking off your phone case and using the flattest part of your phone. A Pixel was used and required no calibration.
Doesn't work on my Samsung S7
Pls make it possible to take photo too
Ok i thought it would be ok for a wing it. But hold up this is the horn telling the bull he's got some funk to his you know. You have to calibrate it on something level or everything will be trash, just like the app.
No. Maybe for a general range of levelling, but dear god this thi g has me in shambles. Its close, but not for the OCD individual.
Can't even switch from horizontal to vertical without manual adjustment on phone screen. MANY free level apps which are better. I'll take worthless apps for $600 Alex.
This is excellent, as accurate as the sensor in your phone can be. Shouldn't replace a proper level if you're building something. For leveling a camper, pictures, etc where "close" is good enough, it is perfect.
This level is dead nuts accurate! At least on my LG G Stylo it is. Allows you to check for level without looking at it with sound indicator. Nice GUI too!
Would be nice to have extra dashes with grade maybe a button to turn them on and off too 1/8 - 1/4 - 3/8 - 1/2 thank you
There's no menu options and I can't figure out how to get it to beep when its level
Always with me and very useful for anything that requires a level. One day I used it to level some pictures for my wife and then to level the birdcages on a sprint car.
2 things that stand out with this app is that it can be calibrated, and you can turn on the camera to level something large. Finally a level app I can trust.
Measure twice or in this case measure three times then cut once
You don't want a slanted tv, neither did we. App worked great !
The camera option is a great addition. The person who added it gets an attaboy from me.
Great tool for leveling scopes, just make sure your base, firearm, and workbench is level before actually leveling the scope!
Very easy to use and accurate
I love the camera feature - the perfect way to level stuff hanging on the wall.
I found what I was looking for. This is not for professional use. Suprisly there are no adds.
...quick and easy level check... love it...
Works great!
Owner operator
Very very accurate
Works great on my galaxy note 5!
