As a standard driver I pocket 100% of the fares for my time and mileage. Unlike the other rideshare apps operating in Austin, I do not pay a 20% or more commission to Ride | Austin to drive for them. No one else is profiting from my labor, which means more of the income I earn from this secondary job goes right back into the Austin economy when I spend my 'fun money'. I really like that. The cherry on top, Ride | Austin was the first to let customers round up their fare to donate to a charity of their choice.

No more 20-30% commissions that U/L deduct regularmy. AUSTIN HAS FOUND A WAY TO offer inexpensive rides to locals and visitors and still pay best rates to drivers. App is very much user friendly as the design team used the generic look of uber to make user transition effortless.

So far so good! Missed the slide to arrive feature, just when I was getting the hang of things.

Please update and improve the app. Invest in it so that it's better. Love the app and program. Uber kept a large chunk of what i earned, Ride Austin does not, this is much better, thank you RA. The best ride share service out there. Uber, please stay away. Also, liberal Austin, don't ef this up.

I am a driver. The app constantly cancels out rides while enroute or after picking up the passenger. Locks up while on a ride and then you nor the passenger can close out the ride, and the tab keeps running up. Contacting support hasn't resolved any of the problems. RideAustin needs to get technical help to fix or rewrite the app.

Downloaded version 2.9.0 from Google play. First time I tried to use it, the splash screen only gave me the option to log in even though I had not yet set a username and password. Tried to set a password through laptop and I can't. This version is effectively useless to me. I love the fact that RideAustin is a 501c3, but the buggy app keeps me from supporting them.

Would be a 5 star but as a driver and having to experience disconnection while on my way to pick up and now locked out because I can't go back online because it keeps saying complete current trip. Needs to have a 24 hour help line for drivers. I do like the fact I make,more money with ride austin than with uber.

Application is frozen. I dropped off at 1502 S. Congress. Application is still frozen. I turned phone off/on waited. I am now reloading app Ride austin driver. Still frozen. Yikes

There is a newer version that I can't seem to get from the play store. Because I have 2.9.0 my Waze will not work properly

As a driver you do everything i can to provide a safe ride, i keep my car spotless , i am bend over backwards to give the best service to people who will dirty my car , are rude and leave a negotiate rating.

Please update the app! I can't sign up, it only has the option to sign into an existing account.

Once you figure out how to get in it works well.

I am trying to sign up but the app won't let me sign in saying I have a invalid username and/or password. I have reached out via email but no one has contacted me back.

I can not sign up it keeps by passing the part where I sign up and takes me str8 to the sign in part but I can't bcuz I never signed up smh.. get UBER BACK IN AUSTIN ASAP
