About myRicoh

Ricoh welcomes our customers in US to reach our service representatives on the go. MyRicoh helps customers log service requests quickly and easily. With your mobile device, scan the equipment bar code, take a picture of the error code on the copier screen or describe the problem, and your service request will be logged automatically. You may also Order Supplies and Submit Meter Reads for your registered equipment; and view history for Service Requests and Supply Orders. For quick troubleshooting you will also be referred to a knowledge base - and the "Contact Ricoh" feature allows us to be a tap away.

It doesn't always work for me, for some reason but, when it does it is amazing!! The best feature is being able to attach a picture to service calls so, I can show our wonderful techs what and where the problem is :)

Pros: -Submit meter reads, toner order, service tickets on all your machines. -Uses the barcode scan. For convenience, I have a list of bar codes on a single sheet of all my printers. -Click picture and attach it to the service ticket. Cons: - Currently the receive my ticket have no ability to view the pictures as they use dumb PDAs for looking up ticket information. - Ties into the slow servers of Ricoh, so you will see a lot of delay (6-10 seconds) on every click of the menu buttons or when performing an action. Request to the Dev Team: - Please enable storing of Equipment IDs for easy pull up , instead of the bar code. - Integrate a smart scan (of the network) feature to instantly scan for equipment in a subnet (on WIFI), this way I can easily click on a printer to add a ticket. Overall Rating 4.5 ****.*

Where does the picture go? Tech does not get it on the edge and receives no email with the photo attached.

I agree add supply order ability and this app would be amazing. Strange that submitting meter reads functionality came before supply ordering.

This WILL be very useful for my team WHEN it is finished. Issues? You are unable to enter a persons contact name and phone number, and appears to pull a random name and phone number for the customer. Also, it does NOT display the copiers location. You just have to hope that the proper location information is received by the tech. Good start, but needs more work.

It is a good little app to help with requesting a sevices call, or looking up the history. I could not scan the EID code either, and I am also using ShopSavvy.

I use this software for each service call I make. Works great for me

Just wish there was a way to order supplies through this app......if there is, I haven't found it.

This did not work with ShopSavvy or Goggles, but it works great with ixMat. ShopSavvy came up with a different number for the bar code each time I tried it, and Goggles wouldn't read it at all. I had been hoping to find such an app, as calling from my cell phone gave limited options for describing the problem.

It's worth using. But a big issue is not being able to change contact name/phone#. It show some pre-populated name/# of which is totally wrong. So I have to put it into comments section. Tried emailing support, twice, with how-to question never a response. Also, sending a picture with service call has never got to the technician.

This is a very promising app, but currently it is unusable to my department in its current state. It does not use the saved contact data on the "My Ricoh" site. Instead it uses the contact information of a person that has not worked here for over a year. No location data is on the ticket. This can't be changed. We have over 100 Ricoh printers. The app needs to be able to specify the contact information or use the data from "My Ricoh". Until then I am forced to call or use the website.
