Fantastic to have these guides dont have to pay for the ones at the venue and great to orient yourself in a new city

A Must have for your Europe visit! We used this for our recent Italy trip. The app has the main attractions of Rome,Florence and Venice and is an excellent way to get an introduction to each place as well as get the important details. I wish we had known about it during our earlier visits to Europe. Informative, fun and saves $$ wasted on audio guides/tours.

Great collection of audio tours. Recently went on a trip to Rome with the family. I think we did all of Rick's guides for Rome. The Vatican one was very good and got us through the museum where would have otherwise been wandering aimlessly. Some of his guides have cheesy jokes which are bearable. If I could add one feature it would be a way to sync up the audio between multiple devices. Some tours could also benefit from extra transition time.

The app crashes unexpectedly, sound is sometimes choppy and skips couple of seconds. The map is not interactive. Narrators are trying too hard to be funny, but are, instead, pretty cringy. Narration is skewed and full of speculations.

Cool info, but there's nothing that tells you what year any of these audios were made. I just listened to one that mentioned the future... 2012. That means that this audio is at least 6 years old... travel info changes -- these should be dated. It's also a pain to scroll through my playlist... it sticks and won't scroll easily at all

Maps and pictures of the places, good information, good voice, No ads, all for free... The best audio guide for Rome! Only the info in the tray stays on my Samsung a3 till I restart it, no big deal for me...

Amazing free audio guide that we've been using in our trip through Rome. Much better than the paid ones at the sites. The Vatican Museums would have been a waste without Rick's great commentary

From a content and delivery perspective, it's fantastic! So informative, specifically for our trip to Rome. However, from a technical perspective, I would recommend a caching system for podcast downloads. Network interruption resulted in download failure.

August 2017 update, used this again in Germany for a Rhein cruise, fantastic audio narrative, thank you Rick! Rick's walking tours of some of the major cities and attractions in Europe were a valuable companion on a recent trip. They were spot on with directions and full of information that makes the experience so much better. A great compliment to Rick's books.

My favorite for self guided audio tours in so many European cities, with do many interesting tidbits and fun facts. Just grand. Cons: sometimes crashes, sometimes camera interferes with it.

This app is only as good as the tracks you can get on it, and Rick's "bubbly" discussions about everything that pops into his head during a walking tour gets very tiresome. To dramatically increase the usability and *improve* the quality of the tracks please add a "skip forward 5 second button". That way, when I don't want to hear the lively banter, I won't have to. I don't want his opinions on the sites, I want FACTS! The only other thing I can think of is being able to copy and paste the transcript.

This elevated our trip to a whole another level. The guides were just detailed enough to give a great picture of the historical background and meaning of each site. It was like having a personal guide through the whole trip. Really nicely done!

Rick Steves' audio guides were a delight to listen to. I've explored most of Europe with him as a guide and was never once disappointed. Highly recommended, better than any guide available on site.

Loved this app. Much better than a paid for guide as you can go at your own pace and save money. Also some great recommendations for food/coffee!

Really good audio guides. Points out the most interesting points and things I would not of noticed otherwise. Used in Rome.

Great free audio guide. Used it in Rome, Venice and Paris. Get to know lesser known places which turned offered good attractions withouts the usual toruist hubhub. Rick Steve's!! Thanks for making the app free...

Great way to study up on an upcoming European trip so you know what is of interest to see, and not be overwhelmed upon arrival.

Great walking tour of the City and the Archaeological Museum. Made our trip very enjoyable

This app was great for our family trip to Italy. We used four of the tours and found them to be a good level of detail vs. length. Great quality for a free app.

Not great; nothing lined up to the corresponding rooms in the louvre; clearly out of date. Further ahead to just cough up 1 euro for their guide.

The maps and tour routes are great additions as well.

Really well done and easy to follow. I've tried this in a few different cities across Europe and had a great experience each time.

Used this app for Louvre. The app takes you to probably the most important paintings and sculptures you must visit (~25) with interesting anecdotes.

Excellent for free! Great tour of Sienna. Would be perfect if you could pause from the notification and from headphones' play/pause button.
