Functions well, but it drains battery too much. I know it needs to be constantly on, but it's the most battery intensive app on my Samsung Note5. Such a shame ill have to uninstall. :(

This finger print app is amazing. Used it on my Note 5, 7, and S7 and it never disappointed me. Get the features like location unlock. The screen shots on the play store limits how beautifully customisable you can make it. Very stable and responsive. Love it

Has more features than any other finger app lock protection app I've found yet. Would be nice if the settings could be backed up. EDIT 2: No longer freezes on authentication screen. Safe Locations feature isn't working. EDIT 3: Safe Locations feature now works but power saving mode must be turned off. EDIT 4: SystemUI app authentication screen keeps popping up but I havent selected it for protection.

This app has all the features you need. I use it as I don't want a lock screen but want to be able to fingerprint lock specific apps. The only issue I have is when I select the easy unlock option so I only have to unlock one app and the rest are unlocked, when I back out of the app or close down recent apps the apps do not lock again. I've tried all variations of the timeout settings but with the easy unlock enabled they never lock again. Please fix for 5 stars. If I have a lock screen it works fine.

The app is fantastic. Does what it's supposed to do. I have two suggestions though. First, the ongoing notification is kind of annoying. Any way this can be kept hidden from the notification shade without compromising performance? Second, the app is rather slow even when improved protection is enabled. Making it faster would make this app perfect.

I dont usually give reviews on apps but, Y U SO SLOW? Id reach about 2 to 3 secs waiting before the app gets opened. And speaking of apps getting opened, the app is displayed before the FS screen does. Id like for you to fix that, please. Other than that, its fine. **"Improved Protection" did no improvement

But with the new update I'm finding some apps fail to open after verifying fingerprint the first time, have to back out then reopen verify fingerprint again then it opens. This happens on two apps I use. .. one is Google inbox and the other is Armed Forces Bank app.

Works better than the others I tried but still lacking in some important ways: #1 is that locked apps screens show up momentarily before the lock screen. Protect notifications doesn't always work properly. Verizon note 5 6.0.1 Ongoing notification, and improved security are enabled. Also running MyKnox. Even though I attempt to lock my Knox no lock screen ever appears. FingerSecurity running on std. and Knox container.

For a long while this worked exceptionally well, and I was really happy, especially the way I could go to the previous page /account with the touch of back button, But for some reason I can't do anything with it, it just says it has stopped working, I've even thought of uninstalling it, and then re installation of it hopefully clearing and being able to use it again... But it won't allow me to do that either...

It used to work fine earlier. But now not working properly. Pops up multiple times even though finger prints are matching. Have to unlock the app 4 to 5 times. Irritating. Also, please keep small keypad instead of huge keypad. It's difficult to handle such big keypads on large screen phones.

Seems to do what it says on the tin, but one thing which doesn't work - which makes it kinda useless - is the uninstall protection. I uninstalled FingerSecurity just fine which of course removed all protections. Edit: Never mind, user error.

I like the app, but unfortunately, just like all the others, if I *don't* unlock the app I am trying to open, then tap 'Recently used apps', I can see the 'locked' app homescreen right there in the clear. So everyone can see my recent whatsapp messages, for example. Is there a fix for this, or I am missing something? Otherwise it is pretty useless. Revised: enabling the two options as suggested by Rick seems to work! This make FingerSecurity the only app I am aware of that also hides the 'recently used apps'. Stars changed from 3 to 5 ! ! :) Revised: I have purchased the Location Based add-on which allows to keep apps unlocked depending on location, but it works backwards for me. It allows to specify which WIFI is safe, so if I want to keep all my apps unlocked when NOT at home (nosy family member), I can't (?!).

Down from 5 to 4 stars. Works great on marshmallow, but latest nougat for Galaxy S7 when protected apps are in a small, moveable window, they're unusable because FS keeps popping up, making it impossible to ever touch the apps. Now down to 3 stars: Also, frequently gets stuck in loop of app requesting print, then FS, then app, infinite loop!

Great one for my galaxy s5. But issue is that, sometimes appear again nd again on the same app. Like am going to facebook so i click on FB than i unlock by fingure and after 4 or 5 sec its again appear on facebook or any other locked app. Thats it

This is the best finger print app lock app i'v ever used. There ate no ads. The app dosnt start showing up on your lock screen like CM security does and it looks good. The only down side is you have buy themes for when you have to use your fingerprint to open the app but in all honesty you don't need the theme as the default theme looks good

Support from developer is good. Reply asap ! Fingerprint works like a charm ,only thing have to wait until the animation comes up then only can scan..it would be really great if there is no delay tho.. Kudos for developer and this app.. And yea this is not a bias review or anything. I tried and complain and i got a fix asap and im happy with it .

I am unable to use fake crash dialog as it it greyed out. I am using Oneplus 3 with Exended AOSP ROM which is based on Android 7.1. Please let me know how to enable thus feature.

Before the update it was working fine. But right now it keeps repeatedly asking for unlock of the apps even though I unlock it several times. Example is the gallery app, even though it is unlocked it keeps asking for finger print.

Id give a str8 5 star but i got a glitch. In the update you guys shud really try fixing. Iys with my fb messenger chat head. If i get a chat, and i open the head, i can access the rest if my messenger without having to scan once. Hope you know what i mean.

I have one small request. Could you please add a profile option in which we could select which apps to be protected at differnet situations or locations. An option to change the pre-set profiles easily will be helpful. Keep up the good work

Does the job right but very slow unlocking. Noticed same on my old phone as well. While most other apps are quick to scan the finger print and opens in a fraction of second but this take almost a second.

It is expected that locked app's screen should not be shown until unlocked. Without it this app is incomplete.

If i protect my Gallery and My Files, And i open Facebook or WhatsApp or Instagram, i can still get access to my Gallery and My Files, without asking any security. Is there any option for this to protect?

(Nexus 6P). This an amazing app with a large amount of customizability and a ton of features but there's a noticeable delay before I can actually press down on the sensor and get in on the first try. I have to wait until the fingerprint icon turns red and then I can do it. Competitors like App Lock don't have this delay but they lack the amount of features FS has, so I would really appreciate it if this delay was eradicated.

I tried improved protection.no use.while opening the app first they are showing the contents then they are asking to scan.please please fix this

Whenever I'm on a protected app and even when I'm not on a protected app the finger security screen keeps coming up. The close button on the screen comes up but when I click it the screen comes back up. Will install again once fixed

Very nice app but the stability needs to be improved for example if i launch whatsapp and then i push it onto background then when i reopen it it does not show the lockscreen window for sometime!!! Fix this problem and your app will be the best

I've used this on my GS5 and now my GS7 Edge, this app works very well, but recently I've noticed it is draining my battery cosiderably.

Lots of features like auto unlock n lock with location n lock specific apps n their specific setting with different fingerprints change background change message that pops up when asking for security very very fast very smooth app! Still needs little improvements but I definitely recommend this app tried other locking apps but this has become my one n only favorite app! Cheers!

Can you please addto the intruder feature; send intruder photo to email address? It would be great. Thanks

Another identification process in already in progress is really annoying! 2 hours later and it's still in progress! I don't want to restart my phone to have it work again! Please set a timeout of such identification processes!

I installed in my oppo f1 but it doesn't work even after app selection for finger security. App is very nice but still need to improve

It doesn't protect notifications all the times (paid feature) on s7 edge on Android 7.0. Other than that it's great.

Works much better now, I run into a problem very rarely, but there is still the odd case where i'm required to reset my device, but very rarely :) amazing app overall
