The Noise App is a smart tool for professionals investigating complaints about noise and anti-social behaviour and makes it easier for everyone involved to resolve them.

This is complete rubbish it does not pick up any noise from upstairs!! My neighbours are constantly making noise day and night and my landlord was told to use this by my local council..it does not pick up the noise that is being made..so useless!!! I have tried others apps but they do not record the noise either!!! Very disapointed!!

The app was installed to monitor a serious ASB case; it's since stopped working, lost the relevant information listed under 'activity' and won't allow the relevant address to be added again. Disappointing...

On the face of it , it's very easy to use as our neighbours often make a lot of noise middle in the night. However, the quality of recording is appaling. I had to remove my wall clock from the room (sic!) to be able to record obnoxiously loud music, as the app was only picking up the ticking... And still the volume of the sound recorded doesn't even get near the volume we experience in real life, and is therefore not deemed nuisance. Very disappointing.

Everyone recorded the noise from neighbour and follow the process to send, officer from council is unable to receive the recording and the apps seen is unstable.

I have sent several recordings but nothing is done by the council, in the mean time we are having to put up with moving into a small bedroom to get any rest. Come home and not able to rest. Useless apo, what you record is nothing like what the noise is like.

By the time iv sent of the 1st 30 sec. I miss out on the rest because the recording is so short and you have to hold your finger down. Why so silly. We need at least one hour or 30 minutes. To get the best of it. Iv missed out on so much. Makes me so angry. Please sort it out I'm sure everyone else would agree.

I'm sitting in a room in my wheelchair, forced to listen to my neighbours extremely loud music. This app goes a long way in helping cure the noise from people who just don't care. The only problem I have is I don't have an idea how well my phone picks up the noise. It is extremely loud noise here, but does this app show this?

A great and simple app to use making the reporting of excessive noise that little bit easier. Just a shame they still won't buckle up and clamp down. Doesn't pick up music properly. Reports sent seem unresponsive.

This app is just taking up space on my phone for no reason. It doesn't pick up the running, thudding and stamping from upstairs that is loud and strong enough to shake our lights but it picks up the clock ticking perfectly! Another way for councils and housing associations to pretend they are helping whilst wasting your time!

The flat above are banging stamping and thudding down on the ceiling to cause myself terrible discomfort and angsiety. The app is extreamly slow on iPhone and does not pick up the low thuds at all. Pointless. ALSO STOP ASKING FOR RATINGS AFTER EVERY BLOODY RECORDING!

The app does not record the full intensity of the noise level due to the shortness of the recording , and having to go through the procedure again after using the app. continuous of the noise levels are effecting our wellbeing.

Council Environmental Protection Department does NOT respond to the App and cannot Legally act on your personal recordings. You'd need to request from your Council, a noise monitoring devices. They endorse this App only to appease the residents. You are wasting your time and effort. Updated review, same as all previous versions, still useless.

This app has actually worked for me, by showing the frequency and anti-social aspect of the problem I face,the housing association took action and hopefully that's the end,what it did not do is record how loud the noise was(drumming) I think this is because....its on a smartphone and of course the microphone is designed for phone use so is made to capture sound nearest to the microphone but is also affected by your hand being in front of said microphone because you have to keep your finger on the button.

This app does not pick up the noise im experiencing either. You can play back what's been recorded and all I hear is a clicking noise and nothing. I'm experiencing bad anti social behavior for over 16 months now and suffering badly yet told i have to use this which is not working. My phone is Samsung j5. ...Any One else experienced using this phone for this app?
