This device will arbitrarily change channels from my normal setting to the wireless external device setting and then back. It usually happens when using the smartphone for something other than the telephone function. It is extremely annoying.

I love it. Need to improve speed connection between the apps and Rexton blu mini connection. A little delay between the switching.

With this app I never use the remote that came with my aids. This takes care of it all. The only annoyance is that there always seemed to be 3 instances of it running in my task manager. Most people won't care about that.

The British have a term for this app: "fiddly." It works relatively well, but takes adjustment and fixing problems when they happen. Every time you want to listen to music or podcasts through your Mini Blu, you have to 1) open the app on your smartphone, get it ready to connect with the Mini Blu RCU, then 2) hit the button on the Mini Blu that connects with the phone, and hold it for 5 seconds. Then you choose what "Program" you want to listen to; that is beyond me, even though I have spent time with the manual. If you hear four tones in your hearing aids, you are (probably) all set. If you don't hear the tones and then music, you get to figure out what the problem is. I figure it will take a minute or so to get them all working together. Let's see, the bluetooth keyboard on my iPad takes exactly...well, I don't know how long it takes to set up, because it always "just works." I am guessing that the next generation of hearing aids will work better, with the new-ish Bluetooth Smart protocol, and won't need an RCU.
