Connexx Smart Remote for Android
Today before I left the house I checked the battery status which indicated a full charge. Within 10 minutes I was getting a low battery beep gor the left aid. Also when a battery is low, the aid beeps every 60 seconds which is very annoying when in a situation where the battery cannot be changed like when driving. I was told the the aids had the ability to adjust to the sound environment. I have not found this to be true.
Phone speaker emits a high pitched sound whenever an hearing aid setting is changed. Those using hearing aids likely won't notice it but people with good hearing, especially young people, can hear the high pitched sound. It's high pitched enough to almost be the "mosquito." Developers, please fix this so I don't jump out of my seat every time my dad adjusts his hearing aid volume.
Needs to adjust volume on L & R separate. I Like tone, volume, mute & area adjustment. Battery life not accurate. Needs more user controls - so I don't have to go to Costco. Settings don't stay long. Picks up static from several different fans. Need to improve program functionality. It is nice to have some adjustments.
Does not work often in noisy locstions, which is usually when you need it. Seems easier to use ha buttons. Also battery seems to always be 3 beeps until about same time as you hear warnings, thus not very functional.
Nothing but problems. Can't get a battery reading at all (good or bad...no beeps at all). Wish there was a better app for my hearing aids.
I found out how to check the battery level. Touch the icon the bottom right of the screen and you have some additional options and settings. It tells you the remaining battery power. Nice!
Does not do what I wanted it to do. Very basic with no adjustments. Also no way to check battery status. Very disappointing.
A bit flakey. Mute doesn't always work. Doesn't exactly fly open at launch. Would like more user controlled settings without running back to my audiologist.
Doesn't work properly most of the time on my Android. Won't hold the settings for longer than about 20 minutes. Batteries die with no working or beep from the app. Just doesn't work like it should.
Pretty basic but gets the job done most of the time. Main issue is trying to get it to work in noisier environments.
This app works with very few exceptions. Directional sound adjustment in Automatic mode is especially useful. No more fumbling with tiny buttons.
What happened to directional feature. It was very useful especially in the car. Not happy that it has been deleted.
Cannot get it to give the battery level. That is unhelpful. Brand new Rexton from Costco.
As already mentioned, gives no indication of batteries going low. It either shows full or they are dead, no in between. Still playing with the directional. Several situations worked great, several couldn't really tell.
Does not work well in noisy environments not only reduces the background sounds but the sound in general. To fiddly to change settings.
Navigation within the app rather bewildering. Battery check function gives wrong results (altho this may be the device's fault, not the app's).
I can find where to check the batteries' life levels, but it's not sending out any beeps,so it's not working for me.
The app is pretty basic but performs as intended. Download was straight forward and worked right away. Instructions were clear. Would appreciate being able to turn my hearing aids off with the app. Battery level test is useful.
Works well for me. I like being able to adjust the direction of sound when I'm in a restaurant or other loud setting.
It's convenient to be able to control volume, bass, treble and mute on a hearing aid using your phone. It's nice to be able to visualize what levels you are at.
Some of the icons used were not clear what is it's function and status ike microphone adjustment. Need to upgrade the icons and or include text explanation and status of the icons (on or off or. ..(
Such a great accessory! No need to call attention to my hearing instruments when adjustment is necessary. Just check the phone!
App does not do anything that the salesman promised. Plus, shows that aids are working when they are not. I think your app should show which aid is working - left and right alone.
Does a good job but can be a bit of problem in really noisy environments.
Perfect. Would like to know how to improve loudness of hearing when speaking with someone on the phone. Thanks for your precious ap
It still needs some fine tuning as the volume control in the aid occasionally gets too loud when changing programs and or adjust the volume itself.
Like that I can check battery level and adjust volume level & listening pattern
Application is very straight forward and user friendly. The download only took a few seconds, and the added functionality is very convenient to adjust the hearing aids.
Needs more options to adjust hearing aids rather than always going to Costco. An equalizer and balance control would be great additions.
About half the time the app won't let me turn the hearing aids on or off.
It doesn't work and instructions are not clear.
Doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Bad control.
It's Good application but when I open it and I close it i feel same same The voice Even When making highest or lower again same
The battery algorithim needs to be improved to better account for the discharge curve. Wish I could adjust each ear separately.
I am having excellent results with the hearing devices and the app is very useful! I am surprised at the effectiveness of the different settings in different environments.
I like being able to adjust the hearing aids with my phone
Very unreliable, poor instructions
Very handy to adjust the volume, programs and other features of the hearing aids. Thanks I like the ability to adjust the range of hearing.
Would like to see an ambient noise filter setting.

Pretty basic, so it should be issue-free, but it's not. Battery sometimes registers full and moments later needs replacement. Sometimes when I try to check battery, approximately says devices turned too low and to increase volume first - I'd never changed volume settings via app or devices. Odd.
