Rever Motorcycle GPS: Discover, Track and Share. for Android
The latest updates have drastically improved the accuracy of logged rides. The new UI looks good too. Loving the app overall!
The app worked great until the last update.. now I'll be driving down the road and it will automatically auto pause, then when I get to the next stop it maps it out as a bird would fly straight shot.. really stinks now. The first time I used it after update, it stopped tracking after the first 30 miles and never did restart, screwed me out of the whole ride and over 350 miles on that ride.. need to get it back to where it was before the update.....
Where did top speed go? Just installed it and the big selling point got lost.
Tried to create an account. Can't do that. Get error messages. Tried to log in with Facebook. Can't do that. More error messages. Tried "forgot password". No response to email with instructions like it said. Worthless waste of space on my phone.
A great utility to track your rides an share them
Liked before the update. Will probably uninstall.
The rider community deserves an app of it own, this one is close but...First , you can't shut down the app, have to reboot. Second, it needs a real GPS signal to start recording, it isn't always possible, it should start recording based on cell location and Google location service, then switch to GPS when it is available. Fix these ,and this app is golden.
Very poor update, best app before the update, now dissatisfied with the update
Not a fan of the update at all. I wish I could have the old version back. I used to live this app. 5/5 before the update, 1/5 after update
Fun. Helps keep track of my travels
I was under the mistaken assumption that when you planned a route, you could then navigate that route. Silly me. It serves the same purpose as Roadtrippers. Plan the route and good luck navigating it with something else. I am not sure who has the ability to switch between navigation and planning apps while riding down the road on a motorcycle, but I guess if its safety third, its possible. Unfortunately, I paid for the app because of its ease of planning a route, but then became quite ticked off today when I found out that I couldn't navigate the route, so I canceled the subscription. Too bad about the loss of money, but at least it was only a month's worth. Such a simple requirement, but like most apps, this one is only 80% complete.
New update installed. Went for a 65 mi ride. 1. Auto-pause doesn't restart. 2. Like live map idea. But map looks like it orient's north, not to bikes heading, flips all over the place, moves in disorienting ways. Bike position and road often off track. Any movement of the bike causes a scribble with Auto-pause off . 3. Map won't stay zoomed out. 4. App crashes on clicking FINISH. Cannot save or share my ride.
Good app for bikers, but it showing less speed and km traveled
Very good
Apparently the app thinks my bike can do 11,896Km/h and travel through buildings lol all joking aside, it's actually pretty decent. Only had one force crash and one issue with it not track8ng a straight line properly.
I loved it and used it for every ride. I'm not much of a fan of the latest update though. I REALLY wish they didn't get rid of the top speed. Nevertheless, I am getting a lot of forced closures now.
Unknown error. Couldn't even sign up or log in
Liked the app but with the new update really like it
Works great on my LG X power. Only nip is that sometimes when Im riding in 'map view' it will switch to the other menu which means i cant see the map anymore. Unless i take my glove off and press 'map' it wont change back. Still a great app though. Other gripe is that it doesn't work on my LG V20 though, closes the app as soon as you open it "unfortunately Rever has stopped working". Make it work and Rever would get my 5 star rating
Lots of potential but they fell short. First this is an adventure app but you can only create a route on your computer! Really! I guess they expect us to take our laptops on our motorcycle trips. Definitely a fail. Second, there is no option to create a ride in an area using the butler maps ratings. Not a fail but having the information with no way to use it is disappointing. Buy a map, you can see more and it's easier. Third, when you look at a map you can barley see the road names when they are listed. Bottom line the free ride tracking is nice but the premium subscription to me is not worth it. Buy a butler map and create rides using Google maps with way points. It works great and comes with your phone.
This was a good app, but lately I've been getting quite a few forced closings when saving rides or trying to open past ones. My Galaxy S7 updated recently, and I wonder if this may be the cause of the problem.
Can't even make an account. Continal error messages on attempts by both email and Facebook. Login screen loops. Useless junk in this day and age. Galaxy s6
This app was hugely improved during the last few updates. Now it works like a charm
Good app but not for me... All the time I forget to turn it on.
What is the point of sharing on Facebook, if nobody can see it unless they create an account?
Still searching for and easy to use app wear I can set waypoints so GPS does not override my scenic route. This is not that app.
App crashes as soon as it starts. Unusable
Waste application, lot of login and sign-up complexity.... Wasted lot of time, even can't login
Its a gud app but create some challenges for the indian riders too ..
It just wont work...1 error mssg after another.
This app minimizes/closes as soon as it is started with no error messages.
And working properly . can't shown actual speed.
Very Special App for me :)
Super app
Not sure
Not working...waste apps
I enjoyed this app
Like it

There are serious issues with Max speed. I have a ride stating I did 2528 kph...with an avg speed of 56kph.
