Alexis Medina Lopez tambien conosido como Alex B "El Artista" nacio el 18 de Noviembre del año 1984 en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana . Hijo de padres campesinos; de madre dedicada y amorosa y padrastro de caracter fuerte y extricto. Se crio en las calles de la ciudad, en barrios como Villas Agricolas, Capotillo, Brisa La Charle entre otros.
Asistio a la escuela catolica San Andres donde conocio un compañero de su misma edad con el cual se divertia cantando. Juntos cantanban en horario de recreacion y despues de clases captando la atencion y admiracion del publico despertando asi el hambre y la pasion por la musica.
Tiempo despues en el año 2002 Colaboro con el duo de musica urbana "Tatto y El Full" con el cual realiso el tema titulado "Deja Que Se Balla" tema que se pauto en canales de television nacional e internacional incluyendo HTV. Aprovechando asi para organizar su propio grupo de musica urbana llamado Simphony "La Sinfonia de la Calle".
Año despues conocio a T.Y.S con el cual colaboro en un tema y al darce ambos cuenta de la quimica que hubo entre ellos, decidieron unirse como duo. Juntos colaboraron con el conocido grupo llamado "La Comision" al cual se unieron y trabajaron en varios temas incluyendo el tema "Que Se Preparen" junto a Neto Sorpresa, K.J y 420.
Al pasar de los años junto a su duo T.Y.S. se fueron dando a conocer y fue asi como lograron llamar la atencion de otros exponentes del genero como El Lapiz Conciente, El Cirujaro Nocturno, Big K, Caja Blanca, Big O, El Fother, DK La Melodia y de los productores Ron E,Jeff MKeys y G Boy con quienes luego trabajarian en una idea donde "El Lapiz Conciente" plantio el nombre de "El Batallon" para su primer mixtape y al ver como el publico enloquesio con su musica y dicha produccion, los consagraron con el nombre "El Batallon".
Mientras preparaban su primera produccion sus vidas da un giro de 180 grados al fallecer uno de sus integrantes; "El Cirujano Nocturno". Algunos de los integrantes del grupo se fueron pero los que si permanecieron decidieron llevar la idea del grupo a otro nivel. Compartieron escenarios con artistas reconocidos a nivel mundial como Whu Tan Clan, Archangel y Daddy Yankee, como tambien participaron en conciertos multitulinarios en reconocidos escenarios tales como "The United Palace, el estadio de Los Mets (City Field) entre otros.
Ganando el mas renocido premio de su pais natal Republica Dominicana. Donde se les ortogo el premio Casandra como "Revelacion del año" y el "Casandra del Pueblo" como tambien fueron nominados a Premios Juventud como "Mi Artista Urbano".
A finales del año 2012 el artista Alex B decide tomar las riendas de su carrera y lograr sus sueños de lanzarse como solista impactando a todos los medios como tambien a sus mas fieles seguidores.
Ahora se encuentra promocionando su primer sencillo "Bailalo" disponible ya en iTunes y trabajando en su primera produccion como solista "International wavy" como tambien se encuentra finalizando "La Bestia The Mixtape" donde colaboraran varios artista del genero urbano.

He grew up on the streets of the city, in neighborhoods such as Villas Agricultural, Capotillo, Brisa La Charle among others.
He attended the San Andres Catholic school where he met a fellow of the same age with which amused singing. Together cantanban in hours after school recreation and attracting the attention and admiration of the public so arousing hunger and passion for music.
Time after in 2002 the duo collaborate with urban music "Tatto and The Full" with which I realiso the item entitled "Stop Having Balla" theme that was prescribed in national and international channels including TV HTV. Leveraging well to organize your own music group called Urban Symphony "Sinfonia The Street".
TYS year later he met with which I collaborate on an issue and I both realized darce chemistry that was between them, they decided to join as a duo. Together they collaborated with the known group called "The Committee" which joined and worked in various subjects including the theme "Prepare To Be" by Neto Sorpresa, KJ and 420.
Over the years with his duo T.Y.S. they were revealing and was also able to attract the attention of other exponents of the genre as El Lapiz Conciente, The Cirujaro Night, Big K, Caja Blanca, Big O, The Fother, DK La Melodia and producers Ron E, Jeff Boy with G MKeys and who then would work on an idea where "El Lapiz Conciente" plantio called "The Battalion" for his first mixtape and see how the audience with their music enloquesio and such production, the consecrated with the name "The Battalion ".
While preparing its first production their lives gives a 180 degrees the death of one of its members, "Night Surgeon". Some of the group members were kept but if they decided to take the idea of the group to another level. They shared the stage with world-renowned as Whu Tan Clan, Archangel and Daddy Yankee artists, as also participated in concerts multitulinarios recognized scenarios such as "The United Palace, home of the Mets (City Field) among others.
Winning the award very recognized more for his native Dominican Republic. Where are orthogonal the Casandra Award as "Newcomer of the Year" and "Cassandra People" as also were nominated for Premios Juventud as "My Urban Artist".
In late 2012 the artist Alex B decides to take charge of your career and achieve their dreams of going solo impacting all media as also his most faithful followers.
Now is promoting his first single "Bailalo" now available on iTunes and working on his first solo production "International wavy" as also is ending "The Beast The Mixtape" where several artists collaborate urban genre.
