App works well and submitting a recording for transcription is easy. Rev's transcription service is great, but you don't need the app. When using the app be aware that if you phone rings, even on silent ringer, recording will stop while ir rings and you will have a 30 second gap. Use airplane mode to avoid this. I always use 2 recorders on important recordings.

I'm a doctoral candidate and have used this service to transcribe all my interviews. The service is fast, accurate and the app easy to use. Once I complete an interview I upload it from my phone and I'm off to the next one. My transcript is generally back within 24 hours. I found the price very reasonable as well. I recommend it to everyone else who is doing interviews, too.

Good foundation for me to start ftom. Only a few errors to clean up

I give awards. I click record, then ask them about the award, click transcribe, and by the time I'm back to my desk what they said is ready for me to copy and paste into their online recognition. Easy for me, more recognition for them. Perfect.

It does as advertised! Nothing fancy, just works.

I mainly use it to dictate summary notes after meetings and for first drafts of blog posts. For those it works great. The turnaround is very fast.

Fairly quick turn around. Not perfect accuracy but works well enough for my needs.

Great app and nice prompt follow up with the transcripts which are 95% accurate. A real time saver if need written transcripts of interview or meetings.

I don't trust the app. Too many permissions for a simple recorder. But it works ok. Auto orientation feature needed please.

I use this for work. The recording quality is strong and the transcriptions are always very good.

Ive recorded lectures, and myself on the piano. Sound quality is not that bad.

Works well and does what you need

Great idea, but I've been let down by bad service. The promise of 24 hours has not been met. Though that is not the greatest disappointment. I submitted three files, which is simple and easy to do via the app. I received my first transcription 72 hours later. Still waiting on the other two. The biggest disappointment is the lack of response to emails asking when I could expect them.

I cannot complain. This app worked exactly as I needed it to work. It just did.

I recently did 12 interviews for a project. I used Rev to record 10 and my phone's audio recorder for the other 2. The app recorded flawlessly and created smaller files. Sending files for transcription was simple. It allows you to add information to the order that you can't add when you order on the website. Nexus 5X

"Verbally journaling" my move out of my apt of 9 years where I lived w/ my only child who died 4 yrs ago from Pediatric Brain Cancer at just 8 yrs old. It's too emotional & thoughts running way too fast thru my mind to write them down while packing up his bedroom which is just like he left it. I mentor grieving moms who've lost children to cancer so hopefully my journey of the unthinkable task will serve as a guide of "how to" & "not to" somehow complete this. Book in works, great app for this! 5☆'s.

I write health blogs and it helps to get the jargen out and edit later, savers a lot of typing time.

Overall, easy to use and got the job done! The website let's you create a list of words (jargon) that are used in the interview.

Perhaps it was because this was my initial order, but my 40 minute dictation was done in a matter of hours and was dead on with only a few errors toward the end of the 16 page document. I will continue to use this service.

This recording app beats All the others, I've tried most of them. The pause function is Non op on most of them, not this one! Sales data even when the battery dies! You don't lose anything if you can't retrieve your device due to any circumstances beyond your control. Surveillance is a dream come true with this one!!!

I have 6,436,768 ideas flow through my mind every single day! Rev let's me talk them out and then I can revisit them and put them in a document! Perfect!
