Westpac Global Currency Card

This app hasn't been updated since late 2014. Can't update Exchange Rates, so can't exchange currencies. History doesn't load. The security question comes from the wrong pool, but if you ignore it and give an answer to one of your actual questions it works. Everything else works ok. Be sure to fund through a bank transfer from a Westpac account during banking hours, or if possible with cash in person at a branch if you need $ loaded in a hurry

Takes too long to load money waste of time especially when you need it quick better off exchanging for cash at least you will have acess to your funds when needed..... edit it had now been 10 days and still no funds in account and I am a westpac customer if you weren't a bank I'd think this is a scam

Will let you down. To enter your DOB, you have to click back 1 month at a time until your reach the month you were born. If you are 50 years old, that 600 taps to enter your DOB. Fail.

Reduced to one star. Needed to enter date of birth to reset password. Do I really need to click the back button, one month at a time, to get to my birth year? Rubbish!

My wife stranded overseas with no funds . Bpay 3 days account tranfer 24 hours and if you go to a branch will not load card straight away still 24 hours .but take out funds of your account straight away. Not exceptable useless

Woeful!!! Why does it take 4 days to credit My Bpay deposit to My Westpac card! Not real time banking, is it Westpac!

Was working...now asks for my 'zip' code which won't work. Online login works fine. Deleted

Reported one card lost. And app deletes both cards. Cannot manage my spare card now

Unreliable, constantly crashes, tells me there's no internet connection when there most certainly is!

Transferring money to this Westpac card from a Westpac account? The only option is BPay, so don't think that just because you're a Westpac customer there will be any good options. Transfers take too long. That's issues with the system, now to the app itself: every time, it crashes, then restarts. There's no net based contact, just an AU phone number. I'm not calling AU while traveling. The only help listed goes to a PDF, and has maybe 10 Frequently *Anticipated* Questions. Glad I have alternate funds

Would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Takes time to transfer funds and noone advises you until you are stuck in a foreign land where youre left stranded with some cash held up in the BPAY for 3days (if you're lucky).

It takes so long to transfer money into the account, sometimes my card doesnt work and when I try and do a currency exchange it keeps saying 'invalid credentials'... please fix this

I'm overseas need to access any normal settings or even help but I have to call Australia. Obviously if I need this, I need help, so why not a free call number or decent online help (wifi is everywhere) it's a Westpac card and that's why I chose this card for the fact my banking is with them and issues should be solved easy. If you sell something @Westpac ensure it works, it's 2015. I can buy/sell shares online with you, how is this app impossible. Last thing. Why is the Bpay transfer so long to accept????

Very happy with card. Transfer fast and easy. I am a Westpac customer that does make it easier too.

App does not work. Cant transfer money from account. Avoid. Get ya act together westpac.

It takes about 48hr via BPAY to top up. Unacceptably slow. It is useless if stuck in a foreign country without cash.....Currency card should function like a regular Westpac account and allow account transfer via regular mobile banking app.

The app doesn't format to the screen size. Correct log in details are not accepted. Lift your game westpac you're making it hard to survive overseas

Used it in canada and alaska it was great. No hassles. Plenty of associate atms. Easy to use and load.

I can't even login, so uninstalled the app.

Cannot log in using username and password. Difficult ap to use.

Works as described. Comments about delays are described in PDS and easily worked with.

I am avid when wanting to travel. What country could host Brisbane?

The app is great. Easy to use and self explanatory. The cost involved... bad. I was under the impression that since I paid fees the exchange rate was at - or at least close to - market value. Nope. Rip off. And you can't electronically transfer money out. Be careful.

I previously deleted the app and couldn't figure out why, so I downloaded it again. Now I remember, it's a bucket of poo. It doesn't recognise my secret answer and have no way of getting around it. Better off using the full site.

The app isn't too bad. Very basic. The card was alright. It would Sometimes decline online payments and leave money unusable. We went 10 days with almost $2000 unusable.

Gives an error either after first trying to log in, or when entering answer to security question. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, rebooting phone etc. Card is activated already.

First it would let me sign in, then crash at the secret question, now it wont even let me sign in, apparently my log in doesnt exist.. Seriously zero stars if i could.

App keeps asking a security question which i did not pick, therefore I can not log in and end up going around in circles after i click 'First time sign in?' (To again activate a card which i already have). Most frustrating!!!
