EE Math Games

This App helps children learn basic math skills using a fun-filled games approach (with no advertising).

The App starts with a screen that celebrates correct answers to a set of math questions - Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division. Once 5 questions are answered with no more than 6 attempts, one of four games is presented. In order to remain in the game modes, the next set of 5 questions must continue to be answered with no more than 6 attempts.

The games involve hitting a target ball showing the correct answer with a projectile using one of a:
- Bow and Arrow
- Sling Shot
- Cannon
- Helicopter

Completion of the target games leads to three possible Runner scenarios in which a Runner on a path jumps up to hit one of three answer balls.

The App has Options to set the Math Skill and select the upper range of Numbers. Sounds are included, with the option to turn sound off. A Speed option can be set to increase or decrease the velocity of the moving parts which affects how far ahead of the target to aim the projectile. The Math skill can be set to present random skill questions.

The App is recommended for children aged 5-9 (Grades 1-4).

This App presents game situations that are fun and challenging in themselves, but which depend on and reinforce math skills. The games are based on mathematical equations for lines, circles, and parabolas which are presented in the context of moving objects - thus, encouraging an awareness and appreciation of geometry and spatial sense.
