Mimo Baby Monitor

Does not give alerts up to the minute, sometimes they are 30 minutes to a few hours delayed. does not sync with phone very quickly, does not show breathing when the app is opened. I have to close & reopen several times before her breathing shows...constantly disconnecting. I am not at ease while I am sleeping to alert me if there is a problem!

I have had the Lilypad and the turtle replaced multiple times but the app still says that my baby is wearing the turtle when she isn't. This thing isn't even useful for listening in the room. IT DOESN'T WORK IN ANYWAY. Do not buy.

Worked spotty for 4 months. Now we're lucky if it connects. The response time is poor. SIDS would occur before a timely warning.

Spent over $250 on this device and it won't even install correctly. I been calling customer service for 2 days and nobody returns my call. Thanks Mimo for nothing!!

Slow!! doesn't catch but here and there and if the baby wakes up or something is wrong it doesn't go off and if it does its way later like 30 minutes after my daughter chokes and stops breathing due to being a c-section baby she has amniotic fluid in her stomach

Mimo says the audio has a bug. Dont get if u want audio. Wont work!

Mimo's customer service is second to none. I had to call several times and consistently spoke to the same person. He was awesome so I reeeally wanted to love the product and app. Unfortunately not so much. I don't know if it's the product or the app to blame but it rarely picks up my son's breathing. The app will say the turtle is charging or disconnected when it's on his onesie, so I don't have any confidence it would actually alarm if something were to happen. I wanted to love you Mimo, I truly did.

Easy to use and love the info it provides!

It would be nice to better control alerts, such as the most important one, breathing irregularities. If the app provided a video to show how the alerts sound it would help.

I have an angel care monitor & got mimo since my son sleeps in his rock & play or Co sleeps in the bed. I have all notifications turned on & I get notified for each position move, if my son is awake etc. If I take the turtle off him I get an alert of no breathing. I'm shocked at some bad reviews because my mimo works perfect. The only part of app that doesn't work for me is the listen in feature but I didn't buy it for that (altho would be nice). Cust service is second to none. Best support I've had.

Buggy, but the best baby monitor system i have found for use at 5+ months. My baby kicks off The Owlet, the MonBaby broke after a week and Snuza Hero was too bulky and woke up the baby with false alarms. This one is great about alarming when it senses irregular breathing but loses wireless signal without you realizing it sometimes (my biggest concern is that the device doesn't alarm when internet is lost) but it is comfortable for the baby, literally can't fall off and is easy to use in a separate room

This was the worst purchase! App doesn't work properly, monitor is inaccurate, can't listen to baby like it says, and monitor on clothing digs in to baby. Stupid buy!

Terrible. Will not save your child or give you peace of mind. Returned is after 1 use. So inaccurate is not even funny. Complete waste of time and money

Horrible product won't even connect right. I'm going to buy a German or Japanese version not this disgrace

The app often has issues. Works on my samsung, does not work on my husband's iPhone and our ipad. No matter what we do it still says "demo baby". Don't like that the "listen to room" feature does not work. It's a baby monitor, historically that's what they do. So I've had to get ANOTHER baby monitor so I csn hear if she is crying. Often she has been awake and crying and I look at the monitor and it will still say "asleep on back" and never register that she has woken up. I have half a mind to return it.

I have had it for 2 months and this thing has been not working more than it has been working. Cannot trust it! Absolutely useless! And the kimono sizes are a joke! My two month old is wearing the 6 to 12 month size and she is completely average for her size. Will be returning in the morning. I'm over it!

Would not recommend this at all save ur time and money

Setting it up was easy especially if you follow the instructions and know the stated network limitations. I had no issue with using Android phones and using a Galaxy S4 and Note. The device/app itself isn't very accurate or useful though. I have yet to receive notifications of anything, the sound cuts out a lot, and the status (position, etc.) just doesn't always reflect what my baby is actually doing. I have had better luck with just a normal video/audio monitor for peace of mind.

The app seems great but I refuse to give 5 stars until the bug is fixed. Galaxy S5 doesn't recognize the access code for programming first use.

I've had a few connectivity issues, but otherwise the Mimo has eased my mind. And their customer service is top notch...UPDATE-THE app keeps crashing. Please fix

Sound stream keeps interupting and it has lots of noise, can't understand a thing

This is so inaccurate, it's a joke. It says he's on his back when he's on his stomach. It says hes asleep when hes awake and vice versa. I tested it on a motionless object and it's been over 15 minutes with no notification that there is no sign of life. It just notified me that the room is cold but failed to notify me that breathing is nonexistent. The breathing live stream will say it's breathing when it clearly isn't or the live stream will show that there is no breathing but i dont get a notification. This infuriates me...this is supposed to save my child's life if he stops breathing???!!! Don't waste your time or money.

For 200 dollars it sure doesn't like to hook up to wi-fi. And doesn't even want to add the turtle to the app. Complete waste of time. And how does a baby even fit into the onsies. They are huge. Returning asap!!

Awesome product which lets you keep an eye on your little one without disturbing their sleep. Their customer service is fantastic!

Don't waste your money doesn't work on Android! False advertising, i already tried it on Galaxy S4, Note 2, S4 Zoom, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE nothing. Only iPhone!

Audio fixes make this a great overall product for new parents, better and with more functionality than any normal baby monitor at comparable price.

Works great!

This is a must have for parents, it will let you check on your little one without disturbing him/her. Also their customer service department is amazing.

the app had a lot of minor bugs and issues (like getting audio to stream). I'm no longer seeing these problems and the app seems to run more smoothly overall.

I love the product and design- the turtle is so gosh darn cute!

The app consistently failed to capture changes in both position and breathing. I ended up taking the kimono off and wearing around my head as a joke and it said the baby was asleep and on his back.... I guess the joke is on me for paying $200 for a onsie. Also, with all the talk of keeping your child swaddled on his back why not put the turtle sensor further towards his chest, at least for the 0-3month kimonos? The sensor appears to dig into his thighs , which wouldn't dig into him.

Doesn't work on my Google Nexus 4. Works on the wife's IPhone 5s. Says the turtle ID is invalid during setup. I was able to get past this issue by having my wife "share" the setup from her app. Still buggy though... Crashes when trying audio

Doesn't work on my LG Optimus Pro G. Abruptly stops on 3rd setup screen (set up lillypad) every time. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times- No dice. Works fine on iPhone, but I don't own one. Will change rating once this is fixed. Please hurry, our baby is due tomorrow.

The first night with mimo was a fail. When I turned on my phone at night and checked the app the turtle displayed as not connected, which makes me wonder if it constantly monitors. The monitor is supposed to alarm when the baby is awake, on stomach etc. The baby awoke in the middle of the night and no alarm. I even tested in the morning by placing baby in his stomach with the app open and no alarm. The system is pointless if it doesn't alarm you at night while you sleep. Hope they can fix this soon!
