Score Fast Free: compose, notate & play music for Android
You can write for just 2 instruments with this app not more
Did the developer create this for humans? Absolutely in no way user-friendly.
Who The Hell can deal with a 17 bar song and call it dine Without a Repeat Symbol or coda there is Nothing DONT Waist ur time DOWLOADING
It's a good enough app if you just need to jot down some ideas. Fairly intuitive and not hard to navigate. But I didn't see anything in the free version or the paid version about adding endings like first ending second ending third endings etcetera. It's a pretty super standard thing for people who write music. It's great that it allows you to repeat a section butt without being able to add a first or second ending its kind of not worth more than $0.99 IMO.
I needed to score some music for school (in a hurry, because I'm a procrastinater). This did the trick. In fact, it was so easy, I'll probably use it a lot from now on.
I am a production coordinator instructor and arranger for marching percussion I really like this application and it would be highly effective for me if there were marching percussion in the instrument selection
I like it. Easy to use. Would like to know how to create 1st Bar without Time Signature as a Lead Up Bar.
This app saved me in my year 10 music project. I would definately reccomend to any student as it is extremely easy to use. This beats any app ive used before, and is a lot easier than the over complicayed syballius.
I'm only giving this four stars only because I am highly curious, if I update to pro will the music I have already will be able to transfer? I'm asking because I just completed the overture and I was hoping to share this on the FB page soon.
can you upgrade for free?
It's good, but how do I add another bar? It won't let me add another note until I have another bar, but I can't find the bar line. Other than that, it's great.
After a few years of experimenting with notation apps good and bad, this may be the best one I've found yet. Hoping for a sale on the full version, but I'll be picking it up at some point regardless.
This app is not as full featured as the paid app. It is just a taster of what to expect in the paid version. Excellent help files. Even a comparison of app features on their website. This free app does what it says and is easy to use. A must for anyone learning music.
I don't read music, but we are doing a complex piece for our next performance. I tried out a number of free apps before trying this one. None had the simplicity, yet wide range of musical flexibility of this one. It took me only 15 minutes to enter the score after a learning process of only a few minutes. The piece is saved as a sound file which I have shared with other choir members. Exactly what I needed, bar a couple of handy looking features that I may buy the full version to unlock.

Perhaps it's just an issue with the limited power of Android apps, but I have yet to find a full service music notation app. I would llike to be able to compose full orchestra scores on my phone. I guess I need to be patient. The time will come.
This doesn't really work for me but try it is good app
The worst app i have ever seen...for score notation. I recomend Ensamble composer & notate me instead of this
Cannot zoom to see what I am doing, and I have a large screen.
It's good, but how do I add another bar? It won't let me add another note until I have another bar, but I can't find the bar line. Other than that, it's great.
How do you change the tempo without that this app is useless
.Have galaxy s4. Closed three times so had to start over each time. Would not let me add notes below middle c in treble clef. Then when I added them to bass cleff there were more bars in treble than bass so the notes played out of order and it would not allow me to add bars to the bass to synchronize. Kept giving error messages that count was full. Only bar I could add was a final bar which ended up with 1 beat out of 4 and no capacity to remove the bar line to add notes.

This lets me do what I want quickly and easily. Very helpful developer and support.
I wish I'd had this years ago. The pro version looks really good. I'll have to get it.
Because very easy to composing
Great
Very good
Does everything it says it will. Great for quickly getting my ideas into musical notation and hearing them. I'll seriously look at buying the Pro version.
This app is great and so easy to use. I love it.
This app is easy to use and makes my compositions look and sound so professional. A fantastic tool for the serious musician.

I'm perfectly aware that this is the free version, and that "not everything is free" excuse does not account for the poor quality of the application itself. Why does the text on the start menu overlap other text? It looks ugly and cheaply made. Selecting notes is quite tedious and bothersome as you have to tap and hold note after note, and despite the option to select more than one note at a time via the "select notes" option, copying and pasting them is very annoying, as you constantly have to swipe back and forth several times (changing the display to show every tool is useless, as the massive select window blocks 87% of the score itself). The grammar is somewhat awkward, and even the Title of the application doesn't make any sense ("Score Fast Free"). Overall this app is poorly made, but despite every minor flaw, this is still the most usefull free notation app you're going to find, as 95% of others are far worse.
